কলকাতা, ৬ ডিসেম্বর, ২০২৫: ব্যবসায়ীদের জন্য বিশেষভাবে নির্মিত ক্রীড়া উদ্যোগ এন্ট্রপ্রেনিউর প্রিমিয়ার লিগ (ইপিএল) তার সপ্তম সংস্করণের সূচনা করল কলকাতার এক খ্যাতনামা হোটেলে আয়োজিত জাঁকজমকপূর্ণ নিলাম অনুষ্ঠানের মাধ্যমে। আনন্দ ফাইন্যান্সিয়াল সার্ভিসেস-এর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা মি. আনন্দ গুপ্তা এই লিগের রূপকার ও প্রতিষ্ঠাতা, যা প্রতি বছরই তার পরিসর ও জনপ্রিয়তায় আরও প্রসার লাভ করছে। এ বছরের ইপিএলে থাকছে মোট ১০টি উদ্যমী দল—৬টি পুরুষ দল এবং ৪টি মহিলা দল—যেগুলোর মালিক বিশিষ্ট ব্যবসায়ীরা এবং তারা নিজেরাও সক্রিয়ভাবে টুর্নামেন্টে অংশ নেন। আগামী ১৩ ও ১৪ ডিসেম্বর, দ্যা স্প্রিং ক্লাব-এ অনুষ্ঠিত হবে সমস্ত ম্যাচ, যা দুই দিনের টানটান উত্তেজনাপূর্ণ ক্রিকেট, সৌহার্দ্য ও ক্রীড়াসুলভ মানসিকতার অভিজ্ঞতা দেবে। অনুষ্ঠানে বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে মি. আনন্দ গুপ্তা বলেন, “ইপিএল তৈরি হয়েছিল মজা, বিনোদন এবং আমাদের ব্যস্ত কর্মজীবন থেকে কিছুটা মুক্তি পাওয়ার জন্য। গত ছয়টি সিজন ছিল অসাধারণ সফল, এবং আমরা প্রতিটি মুহূর্ত ভীষণ উপভোগ করেছি। আশা করছি এই সিজনেও একই পরিবেশ তৈরি হবে, আরও বেশি প্রতিযোগিতা ও পরিপক্বতার সঙ্গে। আমাদের কাছে এটি শুধু একটি টুর্নামেন্ট নয়—এটি একটি আবেগ। আমরা সারা বছর এই ক্রিকেট উৎসবের অপেক্ষায় থাকি।” তিনি আরও যোগ করেন, “ব্যবসায়িক জীবনে খেলাধুলার জন্য সময় বের করা খুব কঠিন, যদিও শৈশবে এটি ছিল আমাদের জীবনের অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ। ইপিএল আমাদের আবার মাঠে ফেরার, ফিট থাকার এবং মানসিক চাপ কমানোর সুযোগ দেয়। খেলাধুলা সত্যিই পুনর্জীবনের অন্যতম সেরা উপায়।” পুরুষদের লিগে থাকবে ১৬টি ম্যাচের পাশাপাশি সেমি-ফাইনাল ও ফাইনাল, এবং মহিলাদের লিগে থাকবে ৭টি ম্যাচ, সঙ্গে সেমি-ফাইনাল ও ফাইনাল—যা ইপিএল ৭.০-কে এখন পর্যন্ত অন্যতম রোমাঞ্চকর সংস্করণ হিসেবে গড়ে তুলেছে। Kolkata, December 6, 2025: Entrepreneur Premier League (EPL), an exclusive sporting initiative for business leaders, marked the beginning of its 7th Edition with a grand auction hosted at a renowned hotel in Kolkata. The league, conceptualised and founded by Mr. Anand Gupta, Founder of Anand Financial Services, continues to grow in scale and popularity with every passing season. This year’s EPL will feature 10 dynamic teams—6 men’s teams and 4 women’s teams—all owned by eminent business personalities who actively participate in the tournament. All matches are scheduled to take place on 13th and 14th December in The Spring Club, promising two days of high-energy cricket, camaraderie, and sporting spirit. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Anand Gupta shared, “EPL was created for fun, entertainment, and relaxation from our hectic work life. The last six seasons were a tremendous hit, and we all enjoyed every moment. We hope this season brings the same atmosphere with even more competitiveness and maturity. For us, this is not just a tournament—it is an emotion. Sports are truly one of the best ways to rejuvenate.” The men’s league will comprise 16 matches along with semi-finals and finals, while the women’s league will feature 7 matches besides the semi-final and final, making EPL 7.0 one of the most exciting editions to date.
