to 15th March 2026, once again in the State of Bengal, and after a long gap of six years, at the Bengal Tennis Association Complex. The championship, sanctioned by the International Tennis Federation, will witness the qualifying rounds on the 08th & 09th March 2026. After organising the ITF Pro as well as the Junior Circuit in Kolkata for the past three decades, the Bengal Tennis Association has been entrusted once again to hold this prestigious World Ranking championship. This year, the championship will be organised and hosted by the Central Excise Athletic Club. The organising team has earned the distinction of hosting this category (M25) tournament due to their professional approach and personalised attention to each individual participating player.
In the present age of competitiveness, it is more and more important for our players to participate in international meets. Only a privileged few nowadays can take part in the International (ITF) events because of the huge costs involved in foreign travel. Not only do they lose out on gaining direct entries, but in most cases, they have to play qualifying rounds.
The official accommodation partners are Hotel Hyatt Regency, Hotel Soujorn, and NX Hotel & Lounge. The tournament will follow the guidelines laid down by the “International Tennis Federation”. Men’s WTT tournaments are open to all male tennis players based on merit and without discrimination. Minors under the age of fourteen (14) shall not be eligible for entry. For these regulations, the player’s age as of the Monday of the tournament week shall be used. The tournament would be played on the synthetic courts, as in the Australian Open, at the Bengal Tennis Association Complex, Salt Lake, Kolkata. Normal playing hours would be from 10.00 am to 6 pm. Before and after the match playing hours, courts will be provided to players for practice.
The tournament has also received strong support from several prominent corporate partners. Reliance Industries Limited and Coal India Limited have joined as primary sponsors; other sponsors supporting the event include UCO Bank, Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Century Ply, Skipper Limited, Patton Group, JAC Olivol, and EIILM. The Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences & Hospitals will be the official healthcare partner for the tournament.
