পুরুলিয়া, ২৬ অক্টোবর: কোল ইন্ডিয়া লিমিটেডের সহায়তায় আয়োজিত সিআইএল কাপের ডুর্গাপুর জোনের ফাইনালে পুরুষ বিভাগে কুচিয়া এফসি এবং মহিলা বিভাগে পাকবিড়রা ভৈরব অ্যাকাডেমি চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয়েছে। সোমবার পুরুলিয়ার এমএসএ গ্রাউন্ডে অনুষ্ঠিত ফাইনালে জয়ের সুবাদে দুই দলই আগামী মঙ্গলবার, ২৭ অক্টোবর, পুরুলিয়ায় অনুষ্ঠিত হতে চলা সেমিফাইনালে জায়গা করে নিয়েছে। তৃণমূল স্তরে ফুটবলের প্রসার এবং প্রতিভাবান খেলোয়াড়দের খুঁজে বের করে তাঁদের বিকাশের লক্ষ্যে আয়োজিত এই প্রতিযোগিতা এবার চূড়ান্ত পর্যায়ে প্রবেশ করছে।
পুরুষ বিভাগের ফাইনালে কুচিয়া এফসি ৩–১ গোলে সালানপুর এফসিকে হারিয়ে ডুর্গাপুর জোনের শিরোপা জিতে নেয়। ফাইনালে নিজের পারফরম্যান্সের জন্য কুচিয়া এফসির রবি বাউড়ি ম্যাচের সেরা খেলোয়াড় নির্বাচিত হন। এই জয়ের ফলে সেমিফাইনালে খেলার যোগ্যতা অর্জন করেছে কুচিয়া এফসি। আগামী ২৮ অক্টোবর পুরুলিয়ায় অনুষ্ঠিত হতে চলা গ্র্যান্ড ফিনালে পৌঁছনোর লক্ষ্যে এবার সেমিফাইনালে মাঠে নামবে দলটি। মহিলা বিভাগের ফাইনালে পাকবিড়রা ভৈরব অ্যাকাডেমি ১–০ গোলে এফসিসি মহলিতোরাকে হারিয়ে চ্যাম্পিয়ন হয়। ফাইনালের জয়সূচক গোলটি করেন সারদা মাহাতো, যিনি ম্যাচের সেরা খেলোয়াড় নির্বাচিত হন। এই জয়ের সুবাদে মহিলা বিভাগেও ডুর্গাপুর জোনের চ্যাম্পিয়ন দল হিসেবে সেমিফাইনালে জায়গা করে নিয়েছে পাকবিড়রা ভৈরব অ্যাকাডেমি। কোল ইন্ডিয়া লিমিটেডের সহায়তায় আয়োজিত সিআইএল কাপ পুরুষ ও মহিলা ফুটবলারদের প্রতিযোগিতামূলক মঞ্চে নিজেদের দক্ষতা তুলে ধরার সুযোগ করে দিয়েছে। ডুর্গাপুর জোনের দুই চ্যাম্পিয়ন দল এবার সেমিফাইনালে নিজেদের জয়ের ধারা বজায় রেখে শিরোপার লড়াইয়ে আরও এক ধাপ এগিয়ে যাওয়ার লক্ষ্যে মাঠে নামবে। আগামী ২৭ অক্টোবর সেমিফাইনাল এবং ২৮ অক্টোবর গ্র্যান্ড ফিনালে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে পুরুলিয়ার এমএসএ গ্রাউন্ডে।
Purulia, October 26: Kuchia FC and Pakbirra Bhairab Academy emerged champions in the Durgapur Zone final of the CIL Cup organized with the support of Coal India Limited. Both teams have secured a place in the semi-finals to be held in Purulia on Tuesday, October 27, after winning the final held at the MSA Ground in Purulia on Monday. The competition, which aims to promote football at the grassroots level and identify and develop talented players, is now entering its final phase. In the men’s final, Kuchia FC defeated Salanpur FC 3-1 to win the Durgapur Zone title. Kuchia FC’s Ravi Bauri was adjudged the man of the match for his performance in the final. With this win, Kuchia FC has qualified for the semi-finals. The team will now enter the semi-finals with the aim of reaching the grand final to be held in Purulia on October 28.
In the women’s final, Pakbirra Bhairav Academy defeated FCC Mahlitora 1-0 to become the champions. The winning goal in the final was scored by Sarada Mahato, who was adjudged the player of the match. With this victory, Pakbirra Bhairav Academy has also qualified for the semi-finals as the champion team of Durgapur zone in the women’s division. The CIL Cup, organized in collaboration with Coal India Limited, has allowed men and women footballers to showcase their skills on a competitive stage. The two champion teams of Durgapur Zone will now take the field in the semi-finals with the aim of continuing their winning streak and taking another step forward in the title race. The semi-finals will be held on October 27 and the grand final on October 28 at the MSA Ground, Purulia.
