Musical Deepawali Get together of Purva Kolkata Maheshwari Sabha

INDRAJIT AICH : Purva Kolkata Maheswari Sabha since 2008 working towards various cultural, social & education services. Hemant Marda, President of the Sabha updated that Maheshwari family of eastern part of Kolkata are members of this sabha. The Sabha was founded under the presidentship of Shri Jiwan lal Bahety. Since 2008, the sabha is organizing programs, blood donations camps, health checkup camp, education scholarship to needy students, Individual development programs for females, seminars of current topics, celebration of various religious festival ie. Deepawali, Holi, Janamastmi, Teej , and Gangour and many more programs. The Gangour festival of PKMS names as Purva Kolkata Gangour Mohotsav is very popular among the people of Kolkata.

CA Rajesh Chandak, Hony secretary added that during the hard time of covid wave the members of the sabha were very active is helping the people by providing foods, arranging medical assistance, providing oxygen cylinders and concentrations etc. and members were very active on counseling people over phone. We have organized many programs on health & entertainment on zoom for people during that time.

Nt Rashmi Biyani & Abhishek Bhoot, co convenor of Deepawali Musical masti program informed that the main purpose of today’s program is to celebrate this  biggest festival of Hindu together and enjoy. Rajat Baid conducted a musical  Antakshari & quiz  for members.Members of all stage participated in the program by singing & dancing . Rajat Baid is a fantastic singer.The best part in his performance was that each and every person took involvement in his well planed Musical Show with some clues to the audience. The audience was thrilled by his clues and enthusiastically started responding him. This brought a unique energy to the whole audience.
