This year, over 12,000 new clothes were distributed to underprivileged children, up from 9,000 in 2025 and 4,700 in 2024. The Bank witnessed wholehearted contributions from its employees, schools, NGOs, corporate partners, housing societies, neighbourhood clubs and individual donors across West Bengal, making ‘Sobar Pujo, Durga Pujo’ their annual Pujo tradition too.
For four years, this community-driven programme has honoured the rich Bengali heritage and the timeless tradition of notun jama (new clothes) during Pujo. ‘Sobar Pujo, Durga Pujo’ reflects YES BANK’s ongoing commitment to ensuring economic circumstances do not exclude any child from the joy of West Bengal’s most loved festival. In the years to come, the Bank will build on this momentum to reach more children each Durga Pujo by creating lasting benefits for the communities it serves.
