কলকাতা, ২৩ আগস্ট, ২০২৪: ICAI-এর পূর্ব ভারত আঞ্চলিক পরিষদ (EIRC) তাদের দুই দিনব্যাপী (২৩ এবং ২৪ আগস্ট, ২০২৪) ৪৯তম আঞ্চলিক সম্মেলনের বার্ষিক অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করেছে কলকাতার বিশ্ব বাংলা মেলা প্রাঙ্গনে। থিম “উই (WE)” অর্থাৎ সহযোগিতা এবং সমন্বয়ের প্রচারের জন্য নিবেদিত ছিল এই সম্মেলন। পেশাদারদের, শিল্প বিশেষজ্ঞদের, এবং বাজারের নেতাদের একত্রিত করার জন্য যেখানে ৩৫০০ টিরও বেশি সদস্য অংশগ্রহণ করেছিলেন। আইসিএআই এবং ইআইআরসি দ্বারা আয়োজিত ৪৯তম আঞ্চলিক সম্মেলনের উদ্বোধন করেন অম্বুজা নেওটিয়া গ্রুপের চেয়ারম্যান পদ্মশ্রী হর্ষবর্ধন নেওটিয়া; সিএ রঞ্জিত কুমার আগরওয়াল, মাননীয় সভাপতি, ICAI; সিএ চরণজোত সিং নন্দা, মাননীয় ভাইস-প্রেসিডেন্ট ICAI; সিএ অনিকেত সুনীল তালাটি, ইমিডিয়েট পাস্ট প্রেসিডেন্ট, ICAI; সিএ (ড.) দেবাশিস মিত্র, মাননীয় প্রাক্তন সভাপতি, ICAI; সিএ সুশীল কুমার গোয়েল, কাউন্সিল সদস্য, ICAI; সিএ সঞ্জীব সংঘী, চেয়ারম্যান, ICAI-এর EIRC এবং আরও অনেক বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিত্ব।
সাংবাদিকদের সঙ্গে কথা বলার সময় সি.এ. রঞ্জিত কুমার আগরওয়াল, মাননীয় সভাপতি, ICAI বলেছেন, “থিম ‘WE’ অ্যাকাউন্টিং পেশার মধ্যে সহযোগিতা এবং সমন্বয় বাড়ানোর প্রতি আমাদের অঙ্গীকার প্রতিফলিত করে। এই সম্মেলন আমাদের সম্মিলিত প্রচেষ্টার শক্তি এবং ঐক্যের শক্তির প্রমাণ।” এই উপলক্ষে সি.এ. ICAI-এর EIRC-এর চেয়ারম্যান সঞ্জীব সংঘী বলেছেন, “আমরা এই বছরের সম্মেলনে এত উল্লেখযোগ্য সদস্যদের উপস্থিতি দেখে রোমাঞ্চিত। সদস্য এবং শিল্প নেতাদের মধ্যে সম্পৃক্ততা এবং মিথস্ক্রিয়া আমাদের ক্ষেত্রে অগ্রগতি এবং উদ্ভাবনকে চালিত করার জন্য একসাথে কাজ করার গুরুত্বকে বোঝায়।”

দ্য ইনস্টিটিউট অফ চার্টার্ড অ্যাকাউন্ট্যান্টস অফ ইন্ডিয়া, সংসদ কর্তৃক স্বীকৃত একটি আইনের অধীনে প্রতিষ্ঠিত, ভারতের একটি প্রধান প্রতিষ্ঠান। এই ইনস্টিটিউটের শীর্ষ সংস্থাটি গত ৭৫ বছর ধরে বিভিন্ন শিল্প, স্থানীয় সংস্থা, সরকারের সুবিধার জন্য জাতীয় অ্যাকাউন্টিং স্ট্যান্ডার্ড এবং স্ট্যান্ডার্ড অডিটিং প্র্যাকটিস তৈরি করার জন্য অনেকগুলি নীতির মধ্য দিয়ে এজেন্সি, জাতি, এবং সামগ্রিকভাবে দেশকে সেবা দিয়ে আসছে। ইনস্টিটিউট অফ চার্টার্ড অ্যাকাউন্ট্যান্টস অফ ইন্ডিয়া (ICAI) এর ইস্টার্ন ইন্ডিয়া রিজিওনাল কাউন্সিল (EIRC) পশ্চিমবঙ্গ, উড়িষ্যা, আসাম, সিকিম, আন্দামান ও নিকোবর দ্বীপপুঞ্জ এবং উত্তর-পূর্ব রাজ্যগুলিতে তাদের সদস্য এবং ছাত্রদের মধ্যে পরিষেবার প্রয়োজনীয়তা পূরণ করে। ইনস্টিটিউট ক্রমাগত তার সদস্যদের জ্ঞান আপডেট করার জন্য কর্মক্ষমতা এবং পেশাদারিত্বের স্তরের মান বৃদ্ধি করার জন্য প্রচেষ্টা করে।
Kolkata, 23rd August 2024: The Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC) of ICAI has organised its annual signature event the 49th Regional Conference spread over two days (23rd & 24th August 2024) at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, Kolkata with the theme “WE” was dedicated to promoting Collaboration, Cooperation, and Coordination, uniting professionals, industry experts, and market leaders wherein more than 3500 members participated. The 49th Regional Conference organized by ICAI & EIRC was inaugurated by Padma Shri Harshavardhan Neotia, Chairman of Ambuja Neotia Group; CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, Hon’ble President, ICAI; CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda, Hon’ble Vice-President ICAI; CA. Aniket Sunil Talati, Immediate Past President, ICAI; CA. (Dr.) Debashis Mitra, Hon’ble Past President, ICAI; CA. Sushil Kumar Goyal, Council Member, ICAI; CA. Sanjib Sanghi, Chairman, EIRC of ICAI and many other eminent personalities.
Speaking to the media, CA. Ranjeet Kumar Agarwal, Hon’ble President, of ICAI, said, “The theme ‘WE’ reflects our commitment to fostering collaboration and synergy within the accounting profession. This conference is a testament to the strength of our collective efforts and the power of unity.” On this occasion, CA. Sanjib Sanghi, Chairman, of EIRC of ICAI said, “We are thrilled to see such a significant turnout at this year’s conference. The engagement and interaction among members and industry leaders underscore the importance of working together to drive progress and innovation in our field.”
