কলকাতা, 29 মে, 2024: নির্বাচন কমিশনের সিস্টেম্যাটিক ভোটারস’ এডুকেশন এন্ড ইলেক্টোরাল পার্টিসিপেশন (এসভিইইপি) বিভাগের সহযোগিতায় ডিসান হাসপাতাল, মহিলাদের ক্ষমতায়ন এবং নির্বাচনী কর্মীদের সমর্থন করার লক্ষ্যে একটি বিশেষ উদ্যোগের ঘোষণা করেছে। এই উদ্যোগের অংশ হিসেবে, ডিসান হাসপাতাল নারীর ক্ষমতায়নের জন্য নিবেদিত ‘পিঙ্ক বুথ’-এ স্বাস্থ্য ও স্বাস্থ্যবিধি কিট বিতরণ করেছে। এই স্বাস্থ্য কিটগুলি শুধুমাত্র সমর্থনের প্রতীক হিসাবে কাজ করেনি বরং নির্বাচনী প্রক্রিয়ায় অংশগ্রহণকারী মহিলাদের সুস্থতা নিশ্চিত করার জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় চিকিৎসা সরবরাহও প্রদান করে।
‘পিঙ্ক বুথ’ ছাড়াও, ডিসান হাসপাতাল নির্বাচনের জন্য প্রতিটি পিঙ্ক বুথে মহিলা কর্মীদের স্বাস্থ্য ও স্বাস্থ্যবিধি কিট প্রদান করে, যার মধ্যে দায়িত্বরত এবং ভোটগ্রহণ কর্মীরাও রয়েছে। এই উদ্যোগটি বিশেষ করে নির্বাচনের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সময়ে, সম্প্রদায়ের স্বাস্থ্য ও নিরাপত্তার প্রতি ডিসান হাসপাতালের প্রতিশ্রুতির উপর জোর দেয়।
