নিজস্ব প্রতিনিধি, কলকাতা (১১ অগস্ট ‘২৬):- পশ্চিমবঙ্গের বিদ্যালয়সমূহে বৈদিক গণিত পাঠক্রম আকারে শেখানোর প্রস্তাব দেওয়া হয়েছে। প্রস্তাব পাঠিয়েছেন ‘ভেদিক ম্যাথস ফোরাম ইণ্ডিয়া।’
আজ কলকাতায় বৈদিক গণিত শীর্ষক এক সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে অংশগ্রহণ করে ‘ভেদিক ম্যাথস ফোরাম ইণ্ডিয়া’-র কর্ণধার গৌরভ টেকরিওয়াল জানান, “পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার চালিত ও পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার অনুমোদিত সবকটা বিদ্যালয়ের পাঠরত ছাত্রছাত্রীদের বৈদিক গণিত শেখানোর জন্য পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকারের শিক্ষা মন্ত্রী দীপক বর্মণ-এর কাছে প্রস্তাব পাঠানো হয়েছে।” ‘ভেদিক ম্যাথস ফোরাম ইণ্ডিয়া’-র তরফ থেকে জানানো হয়েছে, “ইতিমধ্যে দাদরা এবং নগর হাভেলি, দমন ও দিউ-এর মতো কেন্দ্রশাসিত অঞ্চলের সাথে সাথে সিকিম, মণিপুর, আসাম, দিল্লী ও হরিয়ানায় বিভিন্ন বিদ্যালয়ে ইতিমধ্যে বৈদিক গণিত শেখানোর ব্যবস্থা হয়েছে।” সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনের মাধ্যমে আজ ‘এআই পাওয়ার্ড ভেদিক ম্যাথস প্র্যাক্টিস ইঞ্জিন’-এর পথচলার ঘোষণা করে গৌরব টেকরিওয়াল জানান, “১৬টি মূল সূত্র এবং ১৩টি উপ-সূত্রের সহায়তায় সহজে ও খুব তাড়াতাড়ি গাণিতিক হিসাব বা মানসিক গণনার কৌশল সমৃদ্ধ বৈদিক গণিত গ্রন্থটি প্রথম প্রকাশিত হয় ১৯৬৫ সালে। রচনা করেছিলেন পুরীর গোবর্ধন মঠের সন্ন্যাস তথা অন্যতম শঙ্করাচার্য স্বামী ভারতী কৃষ্ণতীর্থ।

The proposal has been sent by ‘Vedic Maths Forum India. ” ‘ Participating in a press conference on Vedic Mathematics in Kolkata today, Gaurav Tekriwal, Chairman, Vedic Maths Forum India, said, A proposal has been sent to the Education Minister of West Bengal, Dipak Barman, to teach Vedic Mathematics to the students studying in all schools run by the Government of West Bengal and approved by the Government of West Bengal. ” According to Vedic Maths Forum India, “Vedic Maths has already been introduced in schools in the Union Territories of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu as well as in Sikkim, Manipur, Assam, Delhi and Haryana. ” Announcing the launch of ‘AI Powered Vedic Maths Practice Engine’ through a press conference today, Gaurav Tekriwal said, “The Vedic Maths textbook was first published in 1965 with the help of 16 basic formulas and 13 sub-formulas to make mathematical calculations or mental calculations easily and quickly. It was written by Swami Bharati Krishnatirtha, a monk and one of the Shankaracharyas of the Govardhan Math in Puri.
