নবদ্বীপে সাংবাদিকের বাড়িতে হামলার ঘটনায় নিন্দা ঝড়, শুরু শাসক বিরোধীর রাজনৈতিক চাপানোতোর

গোপাল বিশ্বাস,নদীয়া-ঃ এ রাজ্যে সাংবাদিককে নিগ্রহ, মারধর, ক্যামেড়া ভেঙে দেওয়ার মতন ঘটনা  প্রায়ই ঘটে চলেছে।

এমনি এক নিন্দনীয় ঘটনার সাক্ষি থাকলো চৈতন্য ভূমি নবদ্বীপ। গত ১০ ডিসেম্বর, শনিবার মধ্যরাতে নবদ্বীপে ইলেকট্রনিক্স মিডিয়ার রিপোর্টার প্রসেনজিৎ চৌধুরীর বাড়ি ভাঙচুরের ঘটনার সাক্ষী হয়ে থাকলো নবদ্বীপ। নবদ্বীপ শহরের বুকে এহেন ঘটনায় যেন শহরের আইনশৃঙ্খলার নগ্ন ছবিই ফুটে উঠলো বলে মনে করেছে কেউ কেউ। আর এই ঘটনার সম্প্রচার হতেই নিন্দায় সরব হয়েছে শাসক থেকে বিরোধী সহ আমজনতাও। বিরোধীদের অভিযোগ নদীয়ার নবদ্বীপ ব্লকের শাসকদল তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস ও প্রশাসনের একাংশের সহযোগিতায় দিনের পর দিন ঘটে চলেছে বিভিন্ন দুর্নীতি । মাটিমাফিয়া থেকে শুরু করে প্রমোটার রাজ সহ বিভিন্ন ক্ষেত্রে দুর্নীতির সাথে যুক্ত পুলিশ প্রশাসন ও শাসক দল তৃণমূলের নেতা ও দলের একাংশের কর্মীরা। শাসকদল ও প্রশাসনের এইসব দূর্নীতির খবর জন সমক্ষে তুলে ধারর জন্য বৈদ্যুতিন সংবাদ মাধ্যমের কর্মীর উপর আক্রমণ নামিয়ে আনছে শাসক দলের মদতপুষ্ট পুলিশ প্রশাসন। এত দিন বিরোধী রাজনৈতিক দলের কর্মী সমর্থকদের ওপর চলতো এই অত্যাচার এখন সংবাদ মাধ্যমের কর্মীর বাড়িতে, শুরু হয়েছে, এ এক অরাজগতা চলছে। কিন্তু প্রশ্ন সত্যি কি তাই? বিরোধী দলের বক্তব্যটাই কি সত্যি? হয়তো নবদ্বীপের ক্ষেত্রে তাই !  শুনতে অবাক লাগলেও এমনি ছবি পুলিশ প্রশাসনের বিরুদ্ধে।

Nabadwip witnessed the vandalism of media reporter Prasenjit Chowdhury’s house. Some believe that such an incident in the heart of Nabadwip city has exposed the naked picture of the law and order situation of the city. And since the broadcast of this incident, the public, including the ruling party to the opposition, has also condemned it. The opposition has alleged that corruption is taking place day after day with the help of the ruling Trinamool Congress and a section of the administration in Nadia’s Nabadwip block. The police administration and leaders of the ruling Trinamool congress and a section of the party are involved in corruption in various fields, from Matimafia to promoter raj. The police administration, backed by the ruling party, is attacking the employees of the electronic media to highlight the news of these corruptions in the ruling party and the administration. For so long, this atrocity on the supporters of the opposition political parties has now started in the house of the media worker, this anarchy is going on. But is the question really so? Is the opposition’s statement true? Maybe that’s the case with Nabadwip!  Although it is surprising to hear, such a picture is against the police administration.

জানা যায় সাংবাদিক প্রসেনজিৎ চৌধুরীর বাড়িতে দূস্কৃতি হামলার পরের দিন পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে নবদ্বীপ থানায়  অভিযোগ জানাতে গেলে নবদ্বীপ থানা অভিযোগ নিতে অস্বীকার করে।  শুধু তাই নয় নবদ্বীপ থানার তরফ থেকে জোর করে বলিয়ে নেবার চেষ্টা হয়, প্রসেনজিৎ চৌধুরীর বাবা এ বিষয়ে কোন অভিযোগ করতে চায় না, এমনি চাঞ্চল্যকর দাবী পরিবারের পক্ষ থেকে (যদিও এ ব্যাপারে আমরা কোন সত্যতা যাচাই করি নি)।  ওই ঘটনা খতিয়ে দেখতে গত ১৩ ই ডিসেম্বর সেখানে সরোজমিনে যান APDR-এর এক প্রতিনিধিদল। প্রতিনিধিদলের পক্ষ থেকে বলা হয়, যে ভাবে ওই বাড়িতে আক্রমণ করা হয়েছে তার নিন্দা করার ভাষা নেই। তাদের দাবি অবিলম্বে দুষ্কৃতীদের গ্রেপ্তার করে উপযুক্ত শাস্তি দিতে হবে। নবদ্বীপ আদালতের আইনজীবী বিকাশ মন্ডল এই প্রসঙ্গে বলেন এটা এক লজ্জা জনক ঘটনা, সঠিক তদন্ত করে দোষীদের শাস্তির  ব্যাবস্থা করা উচিত প্রশাসনের। কারণ একাধারে যেমন সংবাদ মাধ্যম গণতন্ত্রের চতুর্থ স্তম্ভ পাশাপাশি আইনের ঊর্ধে কেউ নয়।

It is learned that the day after the attack on the house of journalist Prasenjit Chowdhury, the family went to the Nabadwip Police Station to file a complaint.  Not only that, the Nabadwip police station tried to force him to say that Prosenjit Chowdhury’s father did not want to make any complaint in this regard, the sensational claim from the family (although we did not verify any fact in this regard).  On December 13, an APDR delegation went to Sarojmin to investigate the incident. The delegation said there was no language to condemn the manner in which the house was attacked. Their demand is that the miscreants should be immediately arrested and given appropriate punishment. Nabadwip court lawyer Bikash Mondal said it was a shameful incident and the administration should conduct a proper investigation and punish the culprits. Because at the same time, as the media is the fourth pillar of democracy, no one is above the law.

ভারতীয় জনতা পার্টির নদীয়া জেলার সম্পাদক নবীন চক্রবর্তী বলেন , নবদ্বীপ হল চৈতন্য জন্মভূমি  একে হেরিটেজ সিটি ঘোষনা করা হয়েছে। আর শান্তির শহর নবদ্বীপকে অশান্ত করে তোলার চেষ্টা করছে তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস ও তাদের মদতপুষ্ট এক শ্রেণীর পুলিশ প্রশাসন। আমরা এর বিরুদ্ধে  জনমত তৈরি করে আন্দোলন গড়ে তুলব এবং এই ঘটনার তীব্র ভাষায় ধিক্কার জানাই। সিপিআইএম নদীয়া জেলার সম্পাদক মন্ডলীর সদস্য  নেতা সুমিত বিশ্বাস বলেন এই ঘটনায় যেহেতু পুলিশের গাড়ির ড্রাইভার জড়িত রয়েছে,সেখানে পুলিশের বড় বাবুদের নির্দেশ ছাড়া তো এইকাজ করা সম্ভব নয়। তছাড়া নবদ্বীপ থানার একাংশ পুলিশ তৃণমূলের দলদাসে পরিণত হয়েছে। আমরা এই আক্রমনের তীব্র ধিক্কার জানাচ্ছি। আমাদের সরকার যখন ছিল আমাদের বিরুদ্ধে লেখা বা খবর করতো বহু সংবাদ মাধ্যম আছে কোন দিনও এভাবে কাউকে আক্রান্ত হতে হয়নি, নবদ্বীপেও কেউ আক্রান্ত হয় নি।

Bharatiya Janata Party’s Nadia district secretary Navin Chakraborty said, “Nabadwip is the birthplace of Chaitanya and it has been declared a heritage city. And the Trinamool Congress and a section of the police administration supported by them are trying to disturb nabadwip, the city of peace. We will build a movement by creating public opinion against it and strongly condemn this incident. Sumit Biswas, a member of the CPI(M)’s Nadia district secretary’s council, said since the driver of the police vehicle was involved in the incident, it would not have been possible to do so without the instructions of the police’s elder babus. Apart from this, a part of the police of Nabadwip police station has become a slave of the Trinamool. We strongly condemn this attack. When our government was there, there were many media outlets that used to write or report against us, no one was attacked like this, no one was attacked in Nabadwip.

তিনি আরও বলেন নবদ্বীপ থানার পুলিশের জামা প্যান্ট খুললে দেখা যাবে তাদের অন্তবাসে TMC র ছাপ মারা,  তবে সবাই নয় বেশ কিছু পুলিশ দাসে পরিনত হয়েছে। নবদ্বীপ শহর তৃনমূল কংগ্রেসের সভাপতি শ্যামা প্রসাদ পাল বলেন, গণতান্ত্রিক দেশে সংবাদ মাধ্যমের ভূমিকা অনস্বীকার্য, তাই তার বা তাদের ওপর এই হামলার নিন্দা করছি। পুলিশ প্রশাসনের উচিত বিষয়টি আরও গুরুত্ব সহকারে দেখা ও এলাকর CCTV ফুটেজ ক্ষতিয়ে দেখে সঠিক দোষীদের শাস্তির ব্যাবস্থা করা।

পাশাপাশি তিনি আরও বলেন এ সবটাই প্রশাসনের বিষয় তারা তাদের মতো তদন্ত করবে, তবে বিরোধী দলের করা সকল অভিযোগ ভিত্তি হীন। এসবের সাথে তৃণমুল কংগ্রেসের কোন যোগ নেই, বিরোধীরা শুধু তৃণমুল কংগ্রেসের বিরোধিতা করতে জানে ‍কিন্ত সাধারণ মানুষের কোনও কাজে আসে না। এমতাবস্থায় ১৫ /১২/২২ বিজেপির তরফ থেকে এলাকায় আইন শৃঙ্খলার অবনতি সহ বিরোধীদের ওপর অকারণে মিথ্যা মামলায় জড়ানোর অভিযোগ।  শহরে চুরির ঘটনা দিন দিন বেড়ে যাওয়া সহ একাধিক ইস্যুতে বিক্ষোভ মিছিল ও  থানা ঘেরাও কর্মসূচীর ডাক দিয়েছে। একাধারে যেমন সাংবাদিকের বাড়িতে হামলার ঘটনায় নিন্দার ঝড় উঠেছে সর্বত্র। এখন এটাই দেখার আদৌ প্রশাসন কি ভূমিকা নেয়, এই ঘটনার পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে সেটাই সময়ের অপেক্ষা।

He also said that when the clothes and pants of the police of Nabadwip police station are opened, it will be seen that the impression of TMC has been put on their insinuations, but not everyone has become slaves. Nabadwip city Trinamool Congress president Shyama Prasad Pal said, “The role of the media in a democratic country is undeniable, so I condemn this attack on him or them. The police administration should look into the matter more seriously and arrange for the punishment of the right culprits by looking at the damaged CCTV footage. At the same time, he also said that all this is a matter of administration, they will investigate like them, but all the allegations made by the opposition party are baseless. The Trinamool Congress has nothing to do with all this, the opposition only knows how to oppose the Trinamool Congress, but it is of no use to the common man. In such a situation, on 15/12/22, the BJP is accused of unnecessarily implicating the opposition in false cases, including the deterioration of law and order in the area.  The city has called for protest marches and police station siege programmes on a number of issues, including increasing incidents of theft day by day. At the same time, there has been a storm of condemnation in the attack on the journalist’s house. Now it is a matter of time to see what role the administration plays in the context of this incident.
