মাননীয়া মুখমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়ের অনুপ্রেরণায়, মাননীয় বিধায়ক শ্রী অরূপ বিশ্বাস মহাশয়ের ‘বিধায়ক এলাকা উন্নয়ন প্রকল্পের ও কলকাতা পৌরসংস্থার পরিবেশ ও ঐতিহ্য বিভাগের আর্থিক সহায়তায় বিবেকানন্দ পার্ক “বেলতলা বিসর্জন ঘাটের” সংস্কার ও উন্নয়নের কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়েছে। শুভ উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠান অনুষ্ঠিত হবে আগামী ৩০ শে সেপ্টেম্বর বিকেল ৫ ঘটিকায়। উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত থাকবেন টালিগঞ্জের বিধায়ক তথা রাজ্যের বিদ্যুৎ, ক্রীড়া, যুবকল্যাণ ও আবাসন দপ্তরের মন্ত্রী অরূপ বিশ্বাস মহাশয় এবং বস্তি উন্নয়ন, পরিবেশ ও ঐতিহ্য দপ্তরের মেয়র পারিষদ শ্রী স্বপন সমাদ্দার মহাশয়। এই ঘাটে সর্ব ধর্মের মানুষ ব্যবহার করতে পারবেন। বিসর্জন থেকে শুরু করে তর্পনের জন্য এই ঘাট ব্যবহার করা যাবে। পাশাপাশি করা যাবে ছট পুজোও। তর্পন এবং ছট পুজোর জন্য থাকছে আলাদা একটি ঘাট। বিসর্জনের জন্য তৈরী করা হয়েছে অত্যাধুনিক ৱ্যাম্প। পাশাপাশি করা হয়েছে সবুজায়ন। বয়জেষ্টদের জন্য থাকছে বসার সুব্যবস্থা। এছাড়াও তৈরী করা হয়েছে পি সি কালচারের। যার দ্বারা পুকুরটি মাছ চাষের জন্য উপযুক্ত হয়ে উঠবে। 
Under the inspiration of Hon’ble Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the renovation and development of Vivekananda Park “Beltala Bisarjan Ghat” has been completed with the financial assistance of the ‘MLA Development Project’ of Hon’ble MLA Shri Arup Biswas Mahashay and the Environment and Heritage Department of Kolkata Municipality. The grand opening ceremony will be held on 30th September at 5 PM. Taliganj MLA and State Minister of Power, Sports, Youth Welfare and Housing Arup Biswas Mahashay and Slum Development, Environment and Heritage Department Mayor Councilor Swapan Samaddar Mahashay will be present at the inauguration ceremony. People of all religions can use this ghat. This ghat can be used for everything from immersion to tarpan. Chhat puja can also be done as well. There is a separate ghat for tarpan and chhat puja. Sophisticated vamp designed for immersion. Greening has also been done. There is good seating for the elderly. Also made of PC culture. By which the pond will become suitable for fish farming.
