কলকাতা,১৯ ফেব্রুয়ারি ২০২৬: সিএ ময়ূর আগরওয়াল ২০২৬–২০২৭ সালের জন্য ইআইআরসি-এর সর্বাধিক মর্যাদাপূর্ণ চেয়ারম্যান পদে নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন। আঞ্চলিক পরিষদের নির্বাচনে এটি তাঁর দ্বিতীয় মেয়াদ। এর আগে তিনি ২৫তম আঞ্চলিক পরিষদের প্রথম মেয়াদে (২০২৫–২০২৬) ইস্টার্ন ইন্ডিয়া চার্টার্ড অ্যাকান্ট্যান্টস স্টুডেন্টস এসোসিয়েশন (ইআইসিএএসএ)-এর চেয়ারপারসন হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন। এছাড়াও, তিনি ২৪তম আঞ্চলিক পরিষদের (২০২২–২০২৫) মেয়াদে কোষাধ্যক্ষ ও সচিব হিসেবে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন। নিম্নলিখিত সদস্য ও ২০২৬–২৭ সালের জন্য পদাধিকারী হিসেবে নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন, ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান, সিএ হরি রাম আগরওয়াল, সেক্রেটারি, সিএ আদিত্য কুমার মহেশ্বরী, ট্রেজারার, সিএ বিশ্বরঞ্জন সুতার। পূর্বাঞ্চল থেকে আইসিএআই-এর কেন্দ্রীয় কাউন্সিলে প্রতিনিধিত্বকারী দুই সদস্য, সিএ রবি কুমার পাটোয়া এবং সিএ সঞ্জীব সাংহি, ২০২৫–২৯ মেয়াদের টিম ইআইআরসি-এর অংশ হিসেবে ও যুক্ত রয়েছেন। ইআইআরসি-এর তাৎক্ষণিক প্রাক্তন চেয়ারম্যান সিএ বিষ্ণু কে. তুলসিয়ান ২০২৫–২৯ মেয়াদের টিম ইআইআরসি-এর সদস্য হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করবেন।
Kolkata, 19th February 2026: Chairman, CA Mayur Agrawa, I got elected for the most coveted post of Chairman, EIRC for the year 2026-2027. This is the second term of his being elected to the Regional Council (EIRC) elections. He was also the Chairperson, Eastern India Chartered Accountants Students Association (EICASA) for the year 2025-2026 in the 1st term of the 25th Regional Council. He also served in the capacity of Treasurer and Secretary in his earlier term, 2022-2025, in the 24th Regional Council of EIRC. The following members have also been elected as office bearers for the year 2026–27: Vice Chairman, CA Hari Ram Agarwal; Secretary, CA Aditya Kr. Maheshwari, Treasurer, CA Bisworanjan Sutar. The two members, CA. Ravi Kumar Patwa and CA. Sanjib Sanghi, representing the Central Council of ICAI from the Eastern Region are also part of the Team EIRC 2025-29. CA Vishnu K. Tulsyan, Immediate Past Chairman, EIRC, will be serving as a Member of this Team EIRC 2025-29.

About EIRC
In 1952, the Eastern India Regional Council (EIRC) of ICAI saw the light of day. The jurisdiction of EIRC spreads to the states of Assam, Tripura, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Odisha, West Bengal, Manipur, Mizoram, and the Union Territory of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. EIRC, or for that matter, any other Regional Council, i.e., SIRC, CIRC, NIRC & WIRC, acts under the directions of the Council to offer services for the quality uplift of its Members & Students. Presently, the number of members of ICAI from the Eastern Region is more than 30,000 members, while students’ strength stands at around 90,000. 13 Branches decorate our Region.
