It is an institute that will provide integrated professional training in acting, modeling, filmmaking, photography, and cinematography. Located in Chinar Park, the academy’s sprawling 11,000 square feet campus has state-of-the-art facilities and advanced technological infrastructure, which are essential to produce future industry professionals. The first academic session will begin in January, and BIA has organized a special film acting workshop conducted by National Award-winning director Atanu Ghosh to kick off the admission process. Aspiring actors get a rare opportunity to learn the art and nuances of screen performance directly from one of India’s most renowned filmmakers. The guidance of Atanu Ghosh, the maker of acclaimed films like ‘Mayurakshi’, ‘Anshuman Pics’, ‘Aybi Sen’, ‘Bini Sutoy’, and ‘Shes Pata’, provides participants with a unique experience and deep insight into the world of cinema. Candidates participating in the workshop are admitted after the workshop. The academy is headed by international model Iban Banerjee, and former Mrs. India title winner and veteran administrator Tuhina Pandey is the chief mentor. Their mission is to build an institution that nurtures talent and prepares students thoroughly for realistic careers.
