জানুন কিভাবে ভাবুক পঞ্চায়েতের‌ ঝাড়পুকুড়িয়া, সোনাঝুড়ি গ্রাম দত্তক নেওয়া হচ্ছে !

মালদা- আজ থেকে গ্রাম দত্তক নিল মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতাল। উপস্থিত ছিলেন মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজের  অধ্যক্ষ ডাক্তার পার্থ প্রতিম মুখোপাধ্যায় সহকারী অধ্যক্ষ ডাক্তার পুরঞ্জয় সাহা সহ অন্যান্য স্বাস্থ্য কর্মীরা।মেডিকেল কলেজের পড়ুয়ারা নিয়মিত গ্রামে নিয়ে চিকিৎসা পরিষেবা ও পরামর্শ দিবেন গ্রামের বাসিন্দাদের। গ্রামীণ চিকিৎসা বিষয়ে মেডিকেল পড়ুয়াদের সচেতন ও ধারণা তৈরি করতে এই উদ্যোগ। চলতি শিক্ষাবর্ষ থেকে মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালের এই শিক্ষণ পদ্ধতি চালু হচ্ছে। ইতিমধ্যে মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে পক্ষ থেকে পুরাতন মালদহের ভাবুক পঞ্চায়েতের‌ ঝাড়পুকুড়িয়া, সোনাঝুড়ি গ্রাম দত্তক নেওয়া হয়েছে। মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, প্রথমবর্ষের পড়ুয়ারা দত্তক নেওয়া গ্রামে নিয়মিত যাবেন। গ্রামের বাসিন্দাদের সঙ্গে যোগাযোগ রেখে চিকিৎসা সংক্রান্ত বিষয়ে দেখভাল করবেন। একজন পড়ুয়া পাঁচটি পরিবারের দায়িত্বে থাকবেন। পাঁচ বছর ধরে তিনি ওই পাঁচটি পরিবারের দেখভাল প্রয়োজনে পরামর্শ দিবেন। পুরাতন মালদহের ভাবুক পঞ্চায়েতের ঝাড়পুকুড়িয়া সোনাঝুড়ি গ্রাম আদিবাসী অধ্যুষিত। গ্রামের অধিকাংশ মানুষ দরিদ্র সীমার নীচে বসবাস করেন। গ্রামের বাসিন্দারা জানান, গ্রামের অনেক অসুস্থ হয়ে পড়লে সঠিক চিকিৎসা করাতে পারেন না। অনেক চিকিৎসা সংক্রান্ত বিষয়ে কোন ধারণা না থাকায় চিকিৎসা করাতে পারেনা। তাই মেডিকেল কলেজের পক্ষ থেকে গ্রাম দত্তক নিয়ে চিকিৎসা পরামর্শ দেওয়ার অনেকটায় সুবিধা হবে গ্রামের বাসিন্দাদের।

Malda: Malda Medical College Hospital has adopted the village from today. Malda Medical College Principal Dr Partha Pratim Mukherjee, Assistant Principal Dr Puranjoy Saha and other health workers were present on the occasion. Meanwhile, Malda Medical College Hospital has adopted Jharpukuria, Sonajhuri villages of Bhabuk panchayat of old Malda. According to Malda Medical College sources, the first-year students will visit the adopted village regularly. Keep in touch with the residents of the village and take care of medical matters. One student will be in charge of five families. For five years, he will advise the five families to look after them. Jharpukuria Sonajhuri village in Old Malda’s Bhabuk panchayat is inhabited by adivasis. Most of the people in the village live below the poverty line. Residents of the village said that many people in the village cannot get proper treatment if they become ill. Many people cannot get treatment because they do not have any idea about medical issues. Therefore, the residents of the village will have the advantage of giving medical advice by adopting the village on behalf of the medical college.
