কলকাতা, ০৩ আগস্ট: হরিয়ানা ও মহারাষ্ট্রে হারার পর ভোটার লিস্টে কারচুপির অভিযোগ তুলেছিলেন রাহুল গান্ধী। তারপরেই বিহারে অতি নিবিড় সমীক্ষা শুরু করে নির্বাচন কমিশন। ভোটারদের নাগরিকত্বের তথ্য প্রমান সহ ফর্ম পূরণ করতে দেওয়া হয়। সুপ্রিম কোর্টের প্রশ্নের উত্তরেও নির্বাচন কমিশন জানিয়ে দেয়, আধার কার্ড, ভোটার কার্ড বা রেশন কার্ডকে নাগরিকত্বের প্রমান হিসেবে দেখছে না তারা। বাড়ি বাড়ি গিয়ে তালিকা মেলানোর পর অতি নিবিড় সমীক্ষা শেষ হয়েছে। প্রায় ৬৫ লক্ষ নাম বাদ গিয়েছে বিহারের ভোটার লিস্ট থেকে। এই অনিশ্চয়তার প্রভাব পড়েছে আইনসভায়। বিহার বিধানসভায় বিক্ষোভ দেখিয়েছে বিরোধীরা। SIR –এর পর নাম কাটা গিয়েছে বিহারের বিরোধী দলনেতা ‘লালু-পুত্র’ তেজস্বী যাদবের। এই পরিস্থিতিতে লোকসভায় লাগাতার বিক্ষোভ দেখিয়ে যাচ্ছে সম্মিলিত বিরোধী ঐক্য। আশঙ্কা, বিহারের পর এবার কি বাংলায় শুরু হবে SIR? রাজ্যের শাসকদল তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস এই SIR-এর বিরুদ্ধে পথে নেমেছে। পাশাপাশি রাজ্যের বিরোধী বিজেপির দাবি, ভোটার লিস্টে অবৈধ ভাবে থাকা রোহিঙ্গা ও বাংলাদেশিদের নাম যাতে বাদ যায় এবং একমাত্র SIR-এর পথেই সেই সব নাম বাদ দেওয়া সম্ভব। এই আবহে দেশের নানা প্রান্তে বাংলা ভাষাভাষীদের ওপর বাংলাদেশী সন্দেহে আক্রমণ চলছে। পরিযায়ী শ্রমিকরা দেশের নানা প্রান্ত থেকে ফিরে আসছেন বাংলায়। পরিযায়ী শ্রমিকদের ওপর এই আক্রমণ আর বাঙালি অস্মিতাকেই হাতিয়ার করছে রাজ্যের শাসক দল। ২০২১ সালে ‘বাংলা নিজের মেয়েকে চায়’ স্লোগানে বাজিমাত করেছিল তৃণমূল। আসন্ন বিধানসভা ভোটে আবার কি বাঙালি অস্মিতাকেই হাতিয়ার করে ভোটের ময়দানে নেমেছে তারা? বিজেপি কোন পথে জবাব দেবে তৃণমূলকে? এই উত্তর খুঁজতেই বিশেষজ্ঞদের মতামত সহ TV9 বাংলার নতুন নিউজ সিরিজ ‘হ্যাঁ SIR, না SIR!’। ৩ আগস্ট , ২০২৫, রবিবার রাত ১০ টায়।

In this atmosphere, Bengali speakers are being attacked in different parts of the country on suspicion of being Bangladeshis. Migrant workers are returning to Bengal from different parts of the country. The ruling party of the state is using this attack on migrant workers and Bengali identity as a tool. In 2021, Trinamool won with the slogan ‘Bangla wants its daughter’. Are they again using the Bengali identity as a tool in the upcoming assembly elections?
