মালদা: পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনের প্রাকমুহুর্তে মালদার ইংলিশ বাজার ব্লকের ফুলবাড়িয়া গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের দুই সিপিআইএম প্রার্থী যোগদান করল তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসে। তার সঙ্গে প্রায় ৪০০ জন সিপিআইএম কর্মীও এদিন যোগদান করে তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসে, দাবি করে তৃণমূল। যোগদানের পর দুই সিপিএম প্রার্থীকে নিয়ে তৃণমূল প্রার্থীদের সমর্থনে গোটা গ্রাম জুড়ে নির্বাচনী মিছিল। রবিবার ইংলিশ বাজারের নতুন নঘরিয়া এলাকায় এই যোগদান শিবির অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। জানা যায় পঞ্চায়েত নির্বাচনে মালদার ইংলিশ বাজার ব্লকের ফুলবাড়িয়া গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের দুই নম্বর সংসদের তিন নম্বর আসনের সিপিআইএম প্রার্থী করা হয়েছিল রনিউল হক এবং দুই নম্বর সংসদের দুই নম্বর আসনের প্রার্থী করা হয়েছিল হাসনারা বিবিকে। এদিন তারা আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের যোগদান করে। ইংলিশ বাজার ব্লক তৃণমূল কংগ্রেস সভাপতি তথা জেলা পরিষদের প্রার্থী প্রতিভা সিংহ এবং ফুলবাড়িয়া অঞ্চলের তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের চেয়ারম্যান তথা গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত প্রার্থী জাইদুল সেখের নেতৃত্বে সিপিআইএমের দুই প্রার্থী এবং প্রায় ৪০০ জন কর্মী তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসে যোগদান করে। এই বিষয়ে তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের ইংলিশ বাজার ব্লক সভাপতি প্রতিভা সিংহ এবং অঞ্চল সভাপতি জাইদুল সেখ, জানান বিগত পাঁচ বছরে মা মাটি সরকারের উন্নয়ন দেখে সেই উন্নয়নে তারা শামিল হতে দুই সিপিআইএম প্রার্থী আজ তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের যোগদান করেছে। তার পাশাপাশি প্রায় আরো ৪০০ জন কর্মী এদিন তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসে যোগদান করে। অন্যদিকে এই বিষয়ে তৃণমূলে যোগদান করা সিপিআইএমের দুই প্রার্থী জানান, তৃণমূলের উন্নয়ন দেখে আজ তারা তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসে যোগদান করল।
