Ramesh Ray reporting : গঙ্গাসাগর মেলার প্রস্তুতির নির্দেশ দিয়ে ইতিমধ্যেই বুধবার নবান্নে পুলিশ প্রশাসন থেকে শুরু করে বিভিন্ন সংগঠনের সঙ্গে বৈঠক সারেন রাজ্যের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী মমতা বন্দ্যোপাধ্যায়। তারপরেই শুক্রবার আলিপুরে সাংবাদিক বৈঠক করলেন দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণা জেলার জেলা শাসক সুমিত গুপ্তা।
একদিকে যখন পালিত হবে গঙ্গাসাগর উৎসব। তখনই রাম মন্দিরের উদ্বোধন করবেন প্রধানমন্ত্রী নরেন্দ্র মোদি। তাই এবছর মেলায় কোনো খামতি রাখতে চাইছে না রাজ্য সরকার। এবছর সরকারের অনুমান ৫০ লক্ষের বেশি পূর্ণ্যার্থীরা আসবেন সাগর মেলায়। তাই প্রতিবছরের মতো এবছরও বিভিন্ন ভাষায় চলবে প্রচার। পাশাপাশি বিভিন্ন সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ার মাধ্যমে চলবে সরাসরি সম্প্রচার। এছাড়াও, সরকারের নির্দেশে কচুবেড়িয়া থেকে সাগর মেলা প্রাঙ্গণ পর্যন্ত বহুবর্ণের আলোয় মুড়ে ফেলার পরিকল্পনা করা হয়েছে। এর পাশাপাশি আগত দর্শনার্থীদের যাতে কোনরকম অসুবিধা না হয় তার জন্য থাকছে জেটি থেকে সাগর মেলা প্রাঙ্গণ পর্যন্ত বিশেষ কুয়াশা আলোর ব্যবস্থা। এছাড়াও লট ৮ থেকে কভুবেড়িয়া পারাপারের জন্য থাকছে ৬ টি বার্জ, ৩২ টি ভেসেল। এছাড়াও গঙ্গাসাগর মেলায় মুড়িগঙ্গা নদী পারাপারের ক্ষেত্রে ইসরোর তৈরী বিশেষ প্রযুক্তি ব্যবহার করতে চলেছে দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনা জেলা প্রশাসন। এদিন জেলার অধিকারীরিক জানান প্রতিটি ভেসেল এবং বার্জে একটি করে এই বিশেষ প্রযুক্তির ডিভাইস লাগানো থাকবে। সেটি আপের মাধ্যমে সেই ডিভাইসকে কাজে লাগিয়ে ভেসেল ও বার্জের সারেঙ সঠিক স্থানে পাঠিয়ে দেবে। প্রতিবছরের মতো এবছরও থাকছে একটি এয়ার এম্বুলেন্স। চারটি ওয়াটার এম্বুলেন্স। এবং সাগর মেলা প্রাঙ্গনে ৩০০ বেডের অস্থায়ী হাসপাতালের পাশাপাশি কলকাতায় ৭টি সুপার স্পেশালিস্ট হাসপাতালেরও ব্যবস্থা থাকছে।
অর্থাৎ ২৪-এর গঙ্গাসাগর মেলার জৌলুস বা প্রচারে যাতে কোনো খামতি না থাকে সে ব্যাপারে প্রয়োজনীয় যা যা করণীয় সবই ব্যবস্থা থাকছে প্রতি বছরের মতো এবছরও। এদিনের সাংবাদিক বৈঠকে উপস্থিত ছিলেন দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণা জেলার সভাধিপতি নীলিমা মিস্ত্রি বিশাল, জেলার তথ্য সম্প্রচার বিভাগের আধিকারিক অনন্যা মজুমদার সহ একাধিক জেলার অধিকারীকগণ।

Apart from this, there is a special fog light system from the jetty to the Sagar Mela premises to avoid any inconvenience to the visitors. Also, there are 6 barges, 32 vessels for crossing from Lot 8 to Kavuberia. Also, the South 24 Parganas district administration is going to use the special technology developed by ISRO in the case of crossing the Muriganga river during the Gangasagar Mela. On this day, the district official said that each vessel and barge will be equipped with one device of this special technology. It will use the device through the app to send the vessel and barge data to the correct location. Like every year, this year also there is an air ambulance. Four water ambulances. And along with the 300-bed temporary hospital in Sagar Mela premises, there are also 7 super specialist hospitals in Kolkata.
In other words, everything necessary to ensure that there is no defect in the celebration or promotion of the 24th Gangesagar Mela is being done this year like every year.
