দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণা সাগর মেলা : সাগরমেলার জন্য ১১টি অস্থায়ী দমকলকেন্দ্র ও ৫০টি ইঞ্জিন থাকবে। এছাড়া অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনা ঘটলে দ্রুত এলাকায় পৌঁছে যাবে কর্মী সহ বুলেট। এই বুলেটে অগ্নিনির্বাপক সব ব্যবস্থা থাকবে। এছাড়া অগ্নিনির্বাপণের জন্য নদীর জলের পাশাপাশি জলাধার ও পাইপ লাইনের জল ব্যবহার করবে দমকলকর্মীরা। এজন্য সাগরমেলা মাঠ, কচুবেড়িয়া, লট নং আট নামখানা পয়েন্ট জনস্বাস্থ্য কারিগরি দপ্তরের পাইপ লাইন থেকে জল নেবে দমকল। এজন্য প্রায় ৩০০টি অতিরিক্ত পয়েন্ট করা আছে। আজ সাগরমেলার পরিকাঠামো ঘুরে দেখেন দমকল মন্ত্রী সুজিত বসু, দমকলের সহাকারি সচিব মনোজ আগরওয়াল, ডিজি রনভীর কুমার। এদিন কচুবেড়িয়ার সবকটি জেটি, জলাধার ঘুরে দেখেন মন্ত্রী।
South 24 Parganas Sagar Mela: There will be 11 temporary fire stations and 50 engines for the Sagar Mela. About 300 additional points are awarded for this. Fire Minister Sujit Basu, Assistant Secretary of Fire Department Manoj Agarwal, DG Ranveer Kumar visited the infrastructure of Sagar Mela today. On this day, the minister visited all the jetties and reservoirs of Kachuberia.
