কলকাতা, ১০ জুন, ২০২৪: সানমার্গ ফাউন্ডেশন ও সানমার্গ ফাউন্ডেশন তাদের রাম অবতার গুপ্ত উৎকৃষ্ট শিক্ষা ২০২৪-এর ১৮ তম সংস্করণের আয়োজন করেছে, ভারতে একমাত্র পুরস্কার অনুষ্ঠান যেখানে ছাত্রদের হিন্দিতে তাদের চমৎকার পারফরম্যান্সের জন্য সম্মানিত করা হয়। এই পুরষ্কার অনুষ্ঠানটি সানমার্গ ফাউন্ডেশনের একটি উদ্যোগ যা হিন্দির গুরুত্ব সম্পর্কে যুবকদের মধ্যে সচেতনতা তৈরি করে। অনুষ্ঠানটি কলকাতার জিডি বিড়লা সভাঘরে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এই বছর আমরা বিখ্যাত সেলিব্রিটি জ্যোতিষী এবং প্রেরণাদায়ক বক্তা জয় মাদানের একটি বিশেষ লাইভ অধিবেশন করেছি যিনি শিক্ষা থেকে কেরিয়ারের যাত্রা সম্পর্কে কথা বলেছেন। আমাদের একটি লাইভ অর্জুন পুরস্কার প্রতিযোগিতাও ছিল।
এই পুরস্কার অনুষ্ঠানে বিভিন্ন বোর্ডের (CISCE, CBSE, International Board এবং W.B বোর্ড) মোট ১৭৪ জন শিক্ষার্থীকে সংবর্ধিত করা হয়েছে। ৪টি বোর্ড- সিআইএসসিই, সিবিএসই, ইন্টারন্যাশনাল বোর্ড এবং পশ্চিমবঙ্গ বোর্ডের যথাক্রমে ১০ এবং ১২ শ্রেণী থেকে ১৫ জন টপার ছিল যারা নির্বাচিত হয়েছিল। ৫টি শীর্ষ বিদ্যালয়, বিভিন্ন বোর্ডের (CISCE, CBSE এবং W.B বোর্ড) ৩ জন শীর্ষ শিক্ষক এবং ৪ জন কলেজের শীর্ষস্থানীয় এবং হিন্দিতে পাঠ্যক্রম বহির্ভূত ক্রিয়াকলাপগুলির সাথে ৩ জন শীর্ষকেও পুরষ্কার দেওয়া হয়েছিল। এই বছর, আমরা ৩টি বিশেষ বিভাগ প্রবর্তন করেছি, আমাদের অসামান্য ক্লাস ১১- এর ছাত্রদের কৃতিত্ব উদযাপন করতে অর্জুন পুরস্কার, সর্বপল্লী রাধাকৃষ্ণন পুরস্কার সেই শিক্ষকের জন্য যিনি হিন্দি ভাষার জন্য অনন্য কিছু করেছেন এবং হিন্দি মাধ্যম স্কুলগুলিকে উন্নীত করার জন্য হিন্দি মিডিয়াম টপারদের জন্য পুরস্কার। রাম অবতার গুপ্ত উৎকৃষ্ট শিক্ষা বাংলা জুড়ে ৫০০০টি স্কুলে এবং সারা দেশে আরও হাজার হাজার স্কুলে পৌঁছেছে যেখানে শিক্ষার্থীরা হিন্দিতে তাদের স্কুলের পারফরম্যান্স, তাদের পাঠ্যক্রম বহির্ভূত কার্যকলাপ এবং ভাষার প্রতি তাদের ব্যক্তিগত উদ্যোগের ভিত্তিতে আবেদন করে। হিন্দি শিক্ষক যারা এই ভবনটির ভিত, তাদেরও সংবর্ধিত করা হয়েছিল। তদুপরি, স্কুলগুলিকে তাদের পারফরম্যান্স এবং এই ভাষায় তাদের নেওয়া উদ্যোগের জন্য সম্মানিত করা হয়েছিল। এ বছরও আমরা মেধাবী শিক্ষার্থীদের পুরস্কৃত করেছি যারা শারীরিক প্রতিবন্ধকতা, মানসিক চ্যালেঞ্জ, মানসিক প্রতিবন্ধকতার সম্মুখীন হয়েছে। এটি অপরাজয় পুরস্কারের অধীনে শ্রেণীবদ্ধ করা হয়েছে।
১৯৪৬ সালে প্রতিষ্ঠিত, সানমার্গ হল পূর্ব ভারতের বৃহত্তম প্রচারিত এবং সর্বাধিক জনপ্রিয় হিন্দি দৈনিক, যার সদর দফতর কলকাতায়। এটি স্বামী করপতরি জি মহারাজ দ্বারা মানবতা এবং ধার্মিকতার স্তম্ভের উপর ভিত্তি করে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল। আজ এটিই একমাত্র সংবাদপত্র যা বাংলার প্রতিটি কোণায় পৌঁছায় এবং রাজ্যের ২৩টি জেলাকে কভার করে। এটি পাটনা, ভুবনেশ্বর, কলকাতা এবং রাঁচি থেকেও প্রকাশিত হয়। আজকের সময় পর্যন্ত সানমার্গ প্রিন্ট এবং ডিজিটাল উভয় মাধ্যমেই সমানভাবে প্রতিষ্ঠিত।
২০০১ সালে, সানমার্গ ফাউন্ডেশন, যা আগে (সানমার্গ ত্রাণ তহবিল কলকাতা) নামে পরিচিত ছিল, হিন্দি ভাষার মাধ্যমে জনসাধারণের কাছে মানসম্পন্ন শিক্ষা প্রচারের লক্ষ্যে প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল। গত ১৮ বছর ধরে, আমরা হিন্দিতে দক্ষতা অর্জনকারী ছাত্র, শিক্ষক এবং শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানকে সম্মানিত করে আসছি। আমরা হিন্দিতে উচ্চ শিক্ষা গ্রহণ করতে ইচ্ছুক শিক্ষার্থীদের সমর্থন করেছি এবং বৃত্তি প্রদান করেছি। উপরন্তু, আমরা প্রান্তিক খাতের শিক্ষার্থীদের আর্থিক সহায়তা প্রদান করি।
মিসেস রুচিকা গুপ্তা, প্রেসিডেন্ট, সানমার্গ এবং ট্রাস্টি, সানমার্গ ফাউন্ডেশন মিডিয়ার সাথে কথা বলার সময় বলেছেন, “সানমার্গ ফাউন্ডেশনে, আমরা বিশ্বাস করি যে প্রতিটি ছাত্র তাদের কঠোর পরিশ্রমের জন্য স্বীকৃতি পাওয়ার যোগ্য। এই পুরস্কার অনুষ্ঠান হিন্দি প্রচারে আমাদের অঙ্গীকারের প্রমাণ হিসাবে কাজ করেছে। ভাষার উৎকর্ষ এবং অনুপ্রেরণাদায়ক তরুণদের অসামান্য ছাত্র, শিক্ষক এবং স্কুলের স্বীকৃতি দিয়ে, আমরা হিন্দি এবং এর সমৃদ্ধ সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্যের প্রতি অনুরাগ জাগিয়ে তুলব বলে আশা করি এবং অনুপ্রেরণামূলক বক্তা জয় মাদানের লাইভ সেশনটি নতুন মাত্রা যোগ করেছে। ইভেন্টে আমরা ক্রমাগত একাডেমিক কৃতিত্ব উদযাপন এবং হিন্দি শেখার প্রতি ভালবাসার উদ্ভাবনী উপায় খুঁজে বের করার চেষ্টা করছি।”
Kolkata, 10th June 2024: Sanmarg Foundation organised their 18th edition of Ram Avatar Gupt Utkrisht Shiksha 2024, the only award ceremony in India where students are felicitated for their excellent performance in Hindi. This award ceremony is an initiative of the Sanmarg Foundation to generate awareness among the youth on the importance of Hindi. The event was held at GD Birla Sabhaghar, Kolkata. This year we had a special live session by renowned celebrity astrologer and motivational speaker Jai Madaan who spoke about the journey from Education to Career. We also had a live Arjuna Puraskar competition.
A total of 174 students from various boards (CISCE, CBSE, International Board and W.B Board) were felicitated in this award ceremony. There were 15 toppers from classes 10 and 12 respectively of the 4 boards- CISCE, CBSE, International Board and West Bengal Board who had been selected. The award was also given to 5 Top Schools, 3 Top Teachers from different boards (CISCE, CBSE and W.B Board) 4 College Toppers and 3 toppers with excellent extracurricular activities in Hindi. This year, we introduced 3 special categories, the Arjuna Puraskar to celebrate the achievements of our outstanding Class 11 students, the Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Puruskar for the teacher who has done something unique for Hindi language and Hindi Medium toppers to promote Hindi medium schools. Ram Avatar Gupt Utkrisht Shiksha reaches out to 5000 schools across Bengal and a thousand more across the country where students apply based on their school performance in Hindi, their extracurricular activities and their initiatives taken towards the language. Hindi teachers who are the bricks, on which this building was built, were also felicitated. Furthermore, schools were felicitated for their performance and initiatives taken by them in this language. This year too we awarded meritorious students who have faced physical disabilities, mental challenges, and emotional barriers. This is categorised under the Aparajay Awards.
Established in 1946, Sanmarg is the largest circulated and most popular Hindi daily in eastern India, headquartered in Kolkata. It was founded by Swami Karpatri Ji Maharaj and is based on the pillars of humanity and righteousness. Keeping up to today’s time Sanmarg is equally established in both print and digital media.
In 2001, the Sanmarg Foundation, earlier known as (Sanmarg Relief Fund Kolkata), was founded to promote quality education to the masses through the language of Hindi. For the last 18 years, we have been honouring students, teachers, and educational institutions who have excelled in Hindi. We have supported and provided scholarships to students wanting to pursue higher education in Hindi. Further, we provide financial support to students from marginalized sectors.

The introduction of the Arjuna Puraskar and the live session by motivational speaker Jai Madaan added new dimensions to the event. We were constantly striving to find innovative ways to celebrate academic achievement and foster a love for learning in Hindi.”
