মালদা: নির্বাচনপর্ব চলায় থমকে গিয়েছিল মালদা জেলার অন্যতম রেগুলেটেড মার্কেটের উন্নয়ণ। অবশেষে নির্বাচন পর্ব মিটতেই জেলাশাসকের নির্দেশমতো বিভিন্ন উন্নয়নমূলক কাজকর্ম নিয়ে অনুষ্ঠিত হলো এক আলোচনা সভা। মালদা জেলার রেগুলেটেড মার্কেটের সভাকক্ষে অনুষ্ঠিত হয় এই আলোচনা সভা। এই আলোচনা সভায় রেগুলেটের মার্কেটের বিভিন্ন সমস্যা যেমন রাস্তা, নিকাশি ব্যবস্থা, পানীয় জলের সমস্যা,পর্যাপ্ত আলো, গারবেজ পরিষ্কার সহ মার্কেটের ব্যবসায়ীদের বিভিন্ন সমস্যা উঠে আসে এবং কিভাবে তার সমাধান করা হয় তা নিয়ে বিস্তর আলোচনা হয়। উপস্থিত ছিলেন মালদা রেগুলেটেড মার্কেটের সচিব অসিত বর, মালদা ম্যাংগো মার্চেন্ট অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের সভাপতি তথা জেলা ব্যবসায়ী নেতা উজ্জ্বল সাহা সহ অন্যান্যরা। উজ্জ্বল বাবু জানান, ব্যবসায়ীদের যে সমস্ত সমস্যাগুলি রয়েছে তা আগামী এক মাসের মধ্যেই সমাধান করা হবে এদিনের এই আলোচনা সভায় আশ্বস্ত করেছেন রেগুলেটর মার্কেটের সচিব। প্রায় ছয় কোটি টাকা ভাড়া বাকি রয়েছে ব্যবসায়ীদের কাছে। সেই ভাড়া গুলি কিভাবে পরিশোধ করা যায় সেই বিষয়ে রেগুলেটেড মার্কেটের সচিব আজ অবগত করিয়েছেন। তার পাশাপাশি কৃষকরা তাদের উৎপাদিত ফসল যাতে এখানে বিক্রি করতে পারে, সে নিও বিস্তারিত আলোচনা করা হয় বলে জানান উজ্জ্বল বাবু। পাশাপাশি আজকের এই আলোচনা সভা সার্থক হওয়ায় ব্যবসায়ীদের পক্ষ থেকে সন্তোষ প্রকাশ করে জেলা শাসক কে ধন্যবাদ জানিয়েছেন জেলা ব্যবসায়ী নেতা উজ্জ্বল সাহা। জেলাশাসকের নির্দেশমতো আজ এই আলোচনা সভার আয়োজন করা হয়েছিল। জঞ্জাল পরিষ্কার নিকাশি ব্যবস্থা সহ বিভিন্ন সমস্যা রয়েছে ব্যবসায়ীদের। আগামী এক মাসের মধ্যেই কাজ শুরু করা হবে এবং সমস্যার সমাধান করা হবে জানালেন রেগুলেটেড মার্কেটের সচিব অসিত বর।
Malda: The development of one of the regulated markets in Malda district was stalled during the election season. In this discussion meeting, various problems of regulated market such as road, drainage system, drinking water problem, adequate lighting, garbage cleaning, various problems of market traders came up and how to solve them was discussed extensively. Malda Regulated Market Secretary Asit Bar, Malda Mango Merchant Association President and district business leader Ujjal Saha and others were present. Ujjwal Babu said that all the problems faced by the traders will be solved within the next one month. About six crore rupees rent is left with the businessmen. The Regulated Markets Secretary today informed how the rents can be paid. Ujjal Babu said that besides this, the farmers can sell their produce here. Besides, the district business leader Ujjwal Saha expressed satisfaction on behalf of the businessmen as today’s meeting was successful. This discussion meeting was organized today as per the instructions of the District Magistrate. Traders have various problems including clean sewage system. The work will be started within the next month and the problem will be solved, said Asit Bar, Secretary of Regulated Market.
