মালদা: মুখ্যমন্ত্রী নির্দেশ মত জেলা প্রশাসনিক বৈঠকের সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী মালদা শহরে কতজন হকার্স রয়েছে তার সার্ভে শুরু করল ইংলিশ বাজার পৌরসভা। সেই রিপোর্ট আগামী শনিবার প্রশাসনিক বৈঠকে জেলাশাসকের হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হবে। ইংলিশ বাজার পৌরসভার এক নম্বর থেকে ২৯ নম্বর ওয়ার্ড পর্যন্ত এই সার্ভে চলবে। পাশাপাশি কেজে সান্যাল রোড থেকে রবীন্দ্র এভিনিউ পর্যন্ত নো হকার্স জোন করা হবে। মঙ্গলবার ইংলিশবাজার পৌরসভায় শহরের হকার্সদের নিয়ে এক আলোচনা সভা অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। সেই আলোচনা সভা শেষে এমনটাই জানালেন ইংলিশবাজার পৌরসভার কাউন্সিলর শুভময় বসু। এছাড়াও উপস্থিত ছিলেন কাউন্সিলর গৌতম দাস। ইংলিশবাজার পৌরসভার চেয়ারম্যান কৃষ্ণেন্দু নারায়ন চৌধুরীর নির্দেশে আজ এই হকার্সদের নিয়ে বৈঠক বলেও জানা যায়।
Malda: According to the decision of the district administrative meeting as directed by the Chief Minister, the English Bazar Municipality has started a survey of the number of hawkers in Malda city. The report will be handed over to the District Magistrate in the administrative meeting next Saturday. This survey will continue from wards 1 to 29 of the English market municipality. Besides, no hawkers zone will be made from KJ Sanyal Road to Rabindra Avenue. A discussion meeting was held on Tuesday in English Bazar Municipality about the hawkers in the city. English Bazar Municipality Councilor Shubmoy Basu said this at the end of the meeting. Councilor Gautam Das was also present. It is also known that a meeting with these hawkers was held today on the instructions of Krishnandu Narayan Chowdhury, Chairman of English Bazar Municipality.
