*কলকাতা চলচ্চিত্র উৎসবে প্রিমিয়ার হলো অংশুমান ও ঋদ্ধির ছবি লকড়বগ্গার *

কলকাতা, ২১ ডিসেম্বর: ‘ – লকড়বগ্গা -ভারতের এমন একটি প্রথম অ্যাকশন ফিল্ম যা একজন পশুপ্রেমিক সংগঠনের সদাসতর্ক ও সজাগ  সদস্যের গল্প বলে। কলকাতার প্রেক্ষাপটে তৈরি এই ছবির প্রথম প্রিমিয়ার হল  কলকাতায়।

কলকাতা চলচ্চিত্র উৎসবে পরিচালক ভিক্টর মুখোপাধ্যায়ের  সঙ্গে অংশুমান ঝা,  ঋদ্ধি ডোগরা এবং ছবির সঙ্গীত পরিচালক সাইমন ফ্রান্সকুয়েট কলকাতায় ছবিটির প্রিমিয়ারে উপস্থিত ছিলেন। ফিল্মটি হরতকি বাগানে বসবাসকারী একজন কুরিয়ার বয়ের যে একজন ‘ক্রভ-মাগা’র (ইসরায়েলি মার্শাল আর্ট ফর্ম) শিক্ষকও বটে। ভারতীয় দেশি কুকুরের প্রতি তার ভালবাসা তাকে  পশুদের জন্য  অজানা  জগতের সন্ধান  দেয়। রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুরের পুরানো সেই  দিনের কথা  গানটিকে  নতুন করে  কম্পোজ করেছেন ফ্রান্সকুয়েট।  গানটি গেয়েছেন শ্রুতি পাঠক।  কলকাতার শ্রোতারা আগামীকাল এই ২১  শতকের রবি ঠাকুরের একটি  ক্লাসিকের প্রথম উপস্থাপনা শুনতে পাবেন।

Kolkata, December 21: ‘ – Lakrabagga – one of india’s first action films that tells the story of an ever-vigilant and alert member of an animal-loving organization. The film has its first premiere in Kolkata.
Anshuman Jha, Riddhi Dogra and music director Simon Fransquet were present at the premiere of the film in Kolkata along with director Victor Mukherjee at the Kolkata Film Festival. The film is about a courier boy living in the Hartki garden who is also a ‘krav-maga’ (Israeli martial art form) teacher. His love for Indian desi dogs gives him a quest for a world unknown to animals. Fransquet has composed the old song of Rabindranath Tagore’s old days.  The song has been sung by Shruti Pathak.  The audience in Kolkata will hear the first rendition of a classic by this 21st century Ravi Tagore tomorrow.

আংশুমান বলেন,রবীন্দ্রনাথ ‘ ঠাকুর বলেছিলেন “চিত্ত যেথা  ভয়শূন্য,  উচ্চ  যেথা শির”।  স্ক্রিপ্ট বাছাই করার সময় এটাই আমার লক্ষ্য। আমাদের প্রচেষ্টা সচেতনভাবে এই ক্লাসিকগুলি দেখার জন্য যা আমাদের অবিশ্বাস্য এবং  দেশের সমৃদ্ধ ঐতিহ্য। রবীন্দ্রনাথ  ঠাকুর ও তার কথা আমাকে ছোটবেলা থেকেই অনুপ্রাণিত করেছে। ২১  শতকের তরুণ প্রজন্মের কাছে রবি ঠাকুরের  সাংস্কৃতিক ও সাহিত্যিক প্রতিভাকে কোনো না কোনোভাবে সহজলভ্য করার জন্য শিল্পী হিসেবে ‘পুরানো সেই দিনের কথা -এর পুনর্বিবেচনা করা আমাদের একটি ছোট প্রচেষ্টা। আর শ্রুতি পাঠক তার কণ্ঠে জাদু করেছেন।’ ফিল্মটি নিউইয়র্কের ২০২২ সালের ‘এইচবিও সাউথ এশিয়ান ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ফিল্ম ফেস্টিভ্যাল’-এর উদ্বোধনী ছবি হিসেবে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে নির্বাচিত। ‘ফার্স্ট রে ফিল্মস’ প্রযোজিত এই  ছবিটিতে রাস্তার কুকুর সম্পর্কে বর্ণনার মাঝখানে একটি হায়েনার কথা এসেছে।  (লকড়বাগ্গা)ভারতীয়   ছবিটি ২০২৩ সালে বড় পর্দায় আসতে চলেছে।

Anshuman said, “Rabindranath tagore said , “Where the mind is without fear, where the head is high”.  That’s my goal while choosing the script. It is our effort to consciously watch these classics which are our incredible and rich heritage of the country. Rabindranath Tagore and his words have inspired me since childhood. It is a small effort by us as artists to revisit the ‘old days’ to make the cultural and literary talents of Ravi Tagore accessible to the younger generation of the 21st century in some way or the other. And Shruti Pathak has done magic in her voice. The film has been officially selected as the opening film of the 2022 HBO South Asian International Film Festival in New York. Produced by ‘First Ray Films’, the film talks about a hyena in the middle of a narrative about street dogs.  The Indian film is all set to hit the big screens in 2023.
