Our ancestors laid the foundation of this temple 72 years ago with the noble aim of preserving and promoting Sanatan Dharma and its eternal values. Over the decades, Seth Bansidhar Jalan Smriti Mandir has become a vibrant spiritual and cultural center for devotees in Howrah. The newly constructed Dwadash Jyotirlinga complex within the temple is truly divine â allowing devotees to experience the blessings of all twelve Jyotirlingas in one sacred place. The 61-feet-tall statue of Lord Shiva on the Ganga Ghat stands as a symbol of faith and devotion â one of the tallest in Eastern India.â Although Swami Chidanand Muni Saraswati Ji could not attend in person, he addressed the gathering via Zoom, delivering an inspiring message emphasizing the importance of culture, spirituality, yoga, and environmental consciousness. He urged everyone to remain devoted to Maa Ganga, preserve her sanctity and continuous flow, and protect the environment for future generations.
