শুভ ঘোষের রিপোর্টঃ আজ নিউটাউনের দিশা আই হসপিটালের শুভ রজতজয়ন্তী বর্ষের অনুষ্ঠান। দিশা আই হসপিটালের একটি বিশেষ ডাক টিকিটের শুভ সূচনা করেন পোস্টমাস্টার জেনারেল কলকাতার নিরাজ কুমার। এই অনুষ্ঠানের বিশেষ অতিথিদের মধ্যে ছিলেন কবি ও সাহিত্যিক চিত্রশিল্পী শুভাপ্রসন্ন মহাশয়, এ. আই.ও.এস এর ভাইস চেয়ারম্যান ডাক্তার সমর বসাক ও দিশার কর্ণধার ও চেয়ারম্যান দেবাশীষ ভট্টাচার্য্য জানান ১৯৯৭ সালের ১ মে এই হসপিটালের শুভ সূচনা হয়। বর্তমানে এই রাজ্যে ১৮ হসপিটাল মানুষকে এই চোখের সেবা দিয়ে থাকেন. আগামী দিনে আরও আধুনিকতম করার চেষ্টায় আছেন।
Shubho Ghosh’s report: Today is the auspicious silver jubilee year celebrations at Disha Eye Hospital in Newtown. A special postage stamp at Disha Eye Hospital was flagged off by Niraj Kumar, Postmaster General, Kolkata. Among the special guests on the occasion were poet and literary painter Shubhaprasanna Sir, A.O.S. Vice-Chairman Dr. Samar Basak and Chairman of Disha Debashish Bhattacharya said that the hospital was started on May 1, 1997. At Present There Are 18 Hospitals In The State Providing This Eye Service To People. He is trying to make it more modern in the days to come.
