করিমপুর থেকে বিশ্বজিৎ রায়ের রিপোর্টঃ নদীয়া জেলার অন্তর্গত মুরুটিয়া থানার বারুইপাড়া গ্রামের দেবাশীষ চক্রবর্তী সম্প্রতি সিঙ্গাপুরে অনুষ্ঠিত আন্তর্জাতিক ক্রীড়া প্রতিযোগিতায় সেরা শিরোপা সোনার পদক জিতেছেন লং জাম্পিং-এ। দেবাশীষবাবু হরিহর পাড়ার লাল নগর স্কুলের ক্রীড়া বিভাগের শিক্ষক। করিমপুর থেকে র্যালি শুরু হয়ে শিকারপুরের বারুইপাড়ায় সমাপ্ত হয়। এখানে গ্রামবাসীর পক্ষ থেকে বিশিষ্ট ব্যক্তিদের উপস্থিতিতে দেবাশীষ বাবুকে সম্বর্ধনা দেওয়া হয়। করিমপুর জোঙরাদহ মন্দিরের সামনে তাঁকে সম্বর্ধনা দেওয়া হয়। সম্বর্ধনা দেন করিমপুর সার্কেলের সার্কেল ইন্সপেক্টর ওমর ফারুক আব্দুল্লাহ তৎসহ অন্য অফিসার এবং অন্যান্য মানুষজন।
Biswajit Roy’s report from Karimpur: Debashis Chakraborty of Baruipara village under Murutia police station under Nadia district recently won the best gold medal in the international sports competition held in Singapore in long jumping. Debashis Babu is a teacher in the sports department of Lal Nagar School in Harihar area. The rally started from Karimpur and ended at Baruipara in Shikarpur. Debasish Babu was felicitated here in the presence of eminent persons on behalf of the villagers. He was felicitated in front of karimpur jungradah temple. Circle Inspector of Karimpur Circle Omar Farooq Abdullah along with other officers and other people gave the felicitation.
