ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ গড়িয়াহাটের পি সি চন্দ্র জুয়েলারির ঠিক পাশে সিংহী প্যালেস এর ডোভার টেরেশে ২৭ শে জুলাই থেকে শুরু হলো টানা ৫ দিনের বই মেলা। চলবে ৩১ শে জুলাই পর্যন্ত। কিতাব লাভার্সের আয়োজনে এর নাম দেওয়া হয়েছে লড দা বক্স। এক সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে এই কিতাব লাভার্সের দুই কর্ণধার রাহুল পান্ডে ও বিবেক ঝাঁ জানালেন তারা চার বছর ধরে এই অভিনব বই মেলা করছেন । কলকাতায় এই নিয়ে পঞ্চম বার। ভারতবর্ষের মোট ৩০ টা শহরে ৫০ টিরও বেশি বই মেলা
করেছেন। এই অভিনব বই মেলার বিশেষত্ব হল তিনটি বক্স আছে ছোটো, মাঝারি ও বড়। ছোটর দাম ১১০০ টাকা,
মাঝারির দাম ১৬৫০ টাকা, আর বড় বক্সের দাম ২৭৫০ টাকা। এই বক্সে ঠিক যত বই ধরবে তত নেওয়া যাবে। বক্সের মুখ সহজে যাতে বন্ধ করা যায় সেটি দেখে নেবেন তারা। সারা পৃথিবীর যত ধরণের বই আছে এই কিতাব লাভার্সের মেলায় পাওয়া যাবে আগামী চারদিন। মোট ৫ দিনের এই মেলার আগে চন্ডীগর, দিল্লিতে দারুন সারা ফেলেছিলো। পাশাপাশি এই বইয়ের কেনা বেচার যিনি দায়িত্বে আছেন সেই সমৃদ্ধি মুখোপাধ্যায় জানালেন কলকাতায় এমন কেউ যদি থাকেন যিনি তার পুরোনো বই এখানে এসে বেচবেন ও সেই দামে এখান থেকে নতুন বই বা পুরোনো বই কিনবেন তাও তিনি করতে পারেন। মেলায় এই এক্সচেঞ্জ অফারও থাকছে। মেলা শুরু হচ্ছে সকাল ১০ টায়। শেষ হচ্ছে রাত ৯ টায়। “লড দা বক্স ” কলকাতায় বই প্রেমীরাও দারুন সারা ফেলবে বই কিনে এটাই কিতাব লাভার্সের ক্ষেত্রে আশা করা যায়।
