রাজেন্দ্র নাথ দত্ত:মুর্শিদাবাদ : ডিজে নিয়ে দাপাদাপি ও অস্ত্র নিয়ে মিছিল,পুরোপুরি ভাবে নিষিদ্ধ রয়েছে সরকারি নির্দেশিকায়। সরকারি নির্দেশিকাকে মান্যতা দিয়ে শোকের উৎসব পবিত্র মহরম পালন করার আহ্বান জানালেন পুলিশ প্রশাসন। আসন্ন পবিত্র মহরম উপলক্ষে মহরম কমিটিগুলিকে নিয়ে শান্তি বৈঠক করল পুলিশ প্রশাসন। মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলার কান্দী মহকুমার খড়গ্রাম থানার পুলিশ ও প্রশাসনের উদ্যোগে বালিয়া গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েত ভবনে বুধবার ওই শান্তি বৈঠকের আয়োজন করা হয়। পূর্ব নির্ধারিত নিয়মানুযায়ী মহরমের শোভাযাত্রা, লাঠি খেলা ইত্যাদি পালন করা হবে। কেউ যেন মদ খেয়ে মাতলামি বা অস্ত্র নিয়ে খেলা না করেন সেই আহ্বান পুলিশ প্রশাসনের পক্ষ থেকে জানানো হয়।এদিনের শান্তি বৈঠকে উপস্থিত ছিলেন খড়গ্রাম থানার সার্কেল ইন্সপেক্টর দিব্যজল ভৌমিক, খড়গ্রাম থানার ভারপ্রাপ্ত আধিকারিক সুপ্রিয় রঞ্জন মাঝি,বালিয়া গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের প্রধান গোকুল ঘোষ,বালিয়া গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের সমস্ত সদস্য ও সদস্যারা, বিশিষ্ট সমাজসেবী সুভাশিষ রায়, সুনীল কোনাই, সমস্ত মহরম কমিটির সদস্যরা । পারস্পরিক সহযোগিতা ও শান্তি শৃঙ্খলা বজায় রেখে মহরম পালিত হবে বলে পুলিশ প্রশাসনকে আশ্বাস দেন মহরম কমিটি গুলি। অপরদিকে মহরমে এলাকার সমস্ত মহরম কমিটিগুলিকে সরকারি নির্দেশ অনুযায়ী মহরম উৎসবে ডিজে বাজানো যাবে না বলে পুলিশের তরফে জানানো হয়। আইন অমান্য করা হলে কড়া পদক্ষেপ করা হবে বলে পুলিশ জানিয়েছে।

The police administration held a peace meeting with the Muharram committees on the occasion of the upcoming Holy Muharram. The peace meeting was organised at Ballia gram panchayat building on Wednesday at the initiative of police and administration of Khargram police station of Kandi subdivision of Murshidabad district. Muharram processions, lathi games etc. will be observed as per the pre-decided rules. The police administration urged that no one should play with alcohol or weapons. Circle Inspector of Khargram police station Dibyazal Bhowmik, Officer-in-charge of Khargram police station Supriya Ranjan Majhi, Balia gram panchayat head Gokul Ghosh, all members and members of Ballia gram panchayat, eminent social worker Subhasish Roy, Sunil Konai, members of all Muharram committees were present at the peace meeting. The Muharram committees assured the police administration that Muharram will be celebrated by maintaining mutual cooperation and peace and order. On the other hand, all muharram committees in the area will not be allowed to play DJ on muharram festival as per the government order, the police said. Police said strict action will be taken if the law is violated.
