গোপাল বিশ্বাস, নদীয়া : আজ ভগবান শ্রীকৃষ্ণের ৫২০০৯ তম জন্মদিবস। বিভিন্ন মঠ মন্দিরে আয়োজন করা হয় বিশেষ পূজা, অনুষ্ঠানের। পাশাপাশি অসংখ্য সাধারণ মানুষ নীজ গৃহের কৃষ্ণ, গোপালের সাজ পোশাক, ফুল এবং মালা দিয়ে সাসুজ্জ্যা, সাধ্য মতন ফল মিষ্টি দেওয়ার রীতি আছে। আর সেই কারণেই ফল ফুলের বাজারে চাহিদা তুঙ্গে দামও আকাশ ছোঁয়া। গাঁদা, রজনীগন্ধাই হাতের নাগালের বাইরে বেলি জুঁই তো ক্রেতা দূরহ। আর এর পেছনে দায়ী খামখেয়ালী আবহাওয়া, গত বছর বর্ষার শেষে লাগাতার বৃষ্টি আর এ বছর বর্ষার মধ্যে বৃষ্টি না থাকার কারণেই এই অভাব বলে মনে করছেন ফুল ব্যবসায়ীরা। এরই সাথে পাল্লা দিয়ে মিষ্টির দোকানে দোকানে বিক্রি হচ্ছে তালের বড়া, মালপোয়া। সকাল থেকেই সাধারণ মানুষের উপচে পরা ভীর তালের বড়া কিনতে গ্রাহকদের, এবছর তালের বড়া বিক্রি হচ্ছে ২০০ টাকা কিলো দরে। বাজারে তাল ও নারকেলের দামও আকাশ ছোয়া। তবে মিষ্টির দোকানে তালের বড়া বিক্রি হওয়ায় খুশি ক্রেতারা, তাদের মতে বাজারে যে ভাবে জিনিসপত্রের দাম, সেখানে সব কিছু বাড়িতে তৈরী করে পূজোর আয়োজন করা মধ্যবিত্তদের নাগালের বাইরে চলে গেছে, সেখানে প্রয়োজন মতো অল্প পরিমান কিনে আচার অনুষ্ঠানটি করতে পেরে খুশি সাধারণ মানুষও। সব মিলিয়ে আনুষাঙ্গিক খরচ কমিয়ে হলেও সাধ্য মতো ভগবানের জন্মদিন পালন করার পণ করেছেন কৃষ্ণ ভক্তরা।

All in all, krishna devotees have decided to celebrate the lord’s birthday as much as possible, even though the cost of accessories has been reduced.
