ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ ডেঙ্গি মোকাবিলায় জেলসিমিয়ান ২০০ দ’ ফোঁটা করে এক সপ্তাহ খেলেই ডেঙ্গি মোকাবিলায় মানুষের মধ্যে রোগ প্রতিরোধ ক্ষমতা গড়ে তোলা যায়। এ বিষয়ে মানুষের মধ্যে সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি করতে ও বিনামুল্যে এই ঔষধ বিতরণের কাজ শুরু করল হোমিওপ্যাথি যোগ ও খাদ্য বিষয়ক গবেষণা ও শিক্ষা কেন্দ্র ইন্সটিটিউট অফ হাইড রিসার্চ এন্ড এডুকেশান। সংস্থার উদ্যোগে বিশিষ্ট চিকিৎসক ডক্টর জে এন কাঞ্জিলালের ১১৪ তম জন্মজয়ন্তী পালন করা হল কলকাতার সাইন্স সিটি সেমিনার হলে। অনুষ্ঠানের সহয়োগীতায় ছিলেন ডক্টর অশোক কুমার প্রধান,ডক্টর অমলেন্দু প্রধান, ডক্টর সাহিদুল ইসলাম সহ বহু বিশিষ্ট চিকিৎসক। অনুষ্ঠানের শুরুতেই ডক্টর কাঞ্জিলাল ও স্যামুয়েল হেনিম্যানের প্রতিকৃতিতে মালা দিয়ে ও কেক কেটে জন্মদিনে শ্রদ্ধা জানান ডক্টর কাঞ্জিলালের ছেলে, মেয়ে ও পুত্রবধু। প্রধান উদ্যোক্তা ডক্টর অশোক প্রধান বলেন, কাঞ্জিলালের জন্মদিবস উপলক্ষে তারা কলকাতার রবীন্দ্র সরণীতে রিসার্চ কেন্দ্রের প্রধান কার্যালয়ে সাধারণ মানুষকে ও রামকৃষ্ণ মঠ কথামৃত ভবনের আবাসীক বাচ্ছাদের খাবার বিতরণ করেন । এছাড়া রামকৃষ্ণ মঠ কথামৃত ভবনে জে এন মুখার্জী স্মারক বক্তৃতা অনুষ্ঠিত হয় কথামৃত ভবনের অধ্যক্ষ স্বামী সিদ্ধেশানন্দ মহারাজের নেত্রিত্বে।
