দক্ষিণ ২৪ পঃ ৮ই সেপ্টেম্বর বৃহস্পতিবার দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনা জেলার আলিপুর তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতি দপ্তরে (মাইনরিটি ভবনে) আন্তর্জাতিক সাক্ষরতা দিবস উদযাপন করা হলো। জনশিক্ষা প্রসার ও গ্রন্থাগার পরিষদের দপ্তর পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকার উদ্যোগে। আজকের এই আন্তর্জাতিক সাক্ষরতা দিবস উদযাপন অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনার জেলা মহাকুমা শাসক শ্রী প্রসেনজিৎ ঘোষ মহাশয়, দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনার ভারপ্রাপ্ত আধিকারিক জেলা সাক্ষরতা দপ্তর নাসরিন বারী(আলি), দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগনা মথুরাপুর রামকৃষ্ণ বিবেকানন্দ মিশন স্বামী মুক্তা নন্দ মহারাজ, দক্ষিণ ২৪পরগনা জেলার জনশিক্ষা প্রসার আধিকারিক সুচাঁদ চট্টোপাধ্যায় আরো অনেক বিশিষ্ট অতিথিবর্গ উপস্থিত ছিলেন। বিশ্ব সাক্ষরতা দিবস অনুষ্ঠানে নরেন্দ্রপুর মিশন প্রতিবন্ধী ভাই বোনদের সংগীতা অনুষ্ঠান ব্যবস্থা, আর কিছু ছোটছোট ভাই বোনেদের নিত্য পরিবেশন করেন।
The International Literacy Day was celebrated at the Alipore Information and Culture Office (Minority Building) in South 24 Parganas district on Thursday. The Office of the Public Education Promotion and Library Council is an initiative of the Government of West Bengal. Shri Prasenjit Ghosh, District Mahakuma Ruler of South 24 Parganas, Nasrin Bari (Ali), Officer-in-Charge of South 24 Parganas, District Literacy Department, South 24 Parganas Mathurapur Ramakrishna Vivekananda Mission Swami Mukta Nanda Maharaj, Public Education Promotion Officer of South 24 Parganas District Suchand Chatterjee and many other dignitaries were present on the occasion. On the occasion of World Literacy Day, Narendrapur Mission arranged music programs for brothers and sisters with disabilities, while some younger brothers and sisters performed daily.
