কাঁচা মালের অভাবে চাহিদা মতো যোগানে সমস্যায় সোলার কদমফুল শিল্পীরা…

লক্ষ্মী পুজোয় অন্যতম অপরিহার্য শোলার কদম ফুল। সারা বছর বিভিন্ন পুজো বা মন্ডপ সজ্জার কাজে ব্যবহ্রত হয় এই শোলার কদম ফুল। কিন্তু বাঙালির ঘরে ঘরে লক্ষ্মী পুজোর দিন এই কদম ফুলের প্রবেশ ঘটেই। কার্যত এর চাহিদা বরাবর বেশী থাকে লক্ষ্মী পুজোর সময়। নবদ্বীপ ব্লকের আভা রায় ও তার স্বামী দুজনেই এই শোলার কদম ফুল তৈরী করে বছর ভর। শোলা কিনে এনে তাদের নিপুন শিল্প কলায় বানিয়ে ফেলেন এই শোলার কদম ফুল, তিনি জানান এই কদম ফুলের চাহিদা বছর ভর থাকলেও, পয়লা বৈশাখ আর লক্ষ্মী পুজের সময় চাহিদা বেড়ে যায়। আগে কাচামালের যোগান ঠিক টাক ছিল, পাশাপাশি কদম ফুল তৈরীতে ব্যবহৃত রং, সুতলির দামও কম ছিল, তাতে লাভের পরিমান চোখে লাগতো। বর্তমানে রং,সুতলির দাম প্রায় দুগুন, তিন গুণ বৃদ্ধি ঘটেছে, ভালমানের শোলার যোগান ও ঠিক ঠাক নেই ফলে চাহিদা মতো তৈরী করতে সমস্যায় পরতে হচ্ছে।, পাশাপাশি লাভের পরিমানও কিছুটা কমেছে। আগে একশত কদম ফুল হাজার টাকায় তারা পাইকারি বিক্রি করতো এবছর তা ১৫০০ টাকায় বিক্রি করতে হবে বলেও জানায়। সব মিলিয়ে সামান্য জিনিস হলেও এই শোলার কদমফুল বছর ভর বানিয়েই বারতি রোজগারের দিশা দেখছেন তারা, তা বলাই বাহুল্য।
