মালদা-পারিবারিক অশান্তির জেরে কীটনাশকে আত্মঘাতী মা ও মেয়ে। চাঞ্চল্যকর ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে মালদা জেলার গাজোল থানার বিলায় কান্দর গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের মালিপাড়া এলাকায়।মৃতরা হলেন শ্রীদেবী হাজদা বয়স(৩০) বছর। মেয়ে মৌসুমী কিস্কু বয়স ১০ বছর। পরিবারের রয়েছে স্বামী স্যাঞলা মুর্মু ও এক ছেলে। পরিবার ও স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানা যায় স্যাঞলা মুর্মুর আগের পক্ষে এক পুত্র সন্তান রয়েছে। সেই পুত্র সন্তান নিয়েই স্বামী স্ত্রীর মধ্যে দীর্ঘদিন ধরেই অশান্তির লেগে রয়েছে। স্বামীর প্রতি অভিমানে বাড়ীতে থাকা কীটনাশক খেয়ে নেয় মা ও মেয়ে। এরপর স্বামী কাজ থেকে বাড়ি ফিরে দেখে দুজনাই মাটিতে পড়ে রয়েছে। তড়িঘড়ি উদ্ধার করে প্রথমে স্থানীয় স্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্রে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়। সেখান থেকে অবস্থার অবনতি হলে মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করে। চিকিৎসা চলাকালীন ভোররাতে মা ও মেয়ের মৃত্যু হয়। ঘটনায় শোকের ছায়া নেমে এসেছে মৃতের পরিবারসহ গোটা গ্রামে। এইদিকে মৃতদেহ দুটি উদ্ধার করে ময়না তদন্তের জন্য মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে পাঠানো হয়।
Mother and daughter commit suicide due to family dispute in Malda. The incident took place in Malipara area of Bilay Kandar gram panchayat under Gajol police station in Malda district. The deceased was identified as Sridevi Hazda, 30. The girl Moushumi Kisku is 10 years old. The family is survived by her husband Sanla Murmu and a son. According to family and local sources, Sanla Murmu has a son on her previous side. There has been unrest between husband and wife for a long time with that son. The mother and daughter ate pesticides in the house in pride of their husband. Then the husband returned home from work and saw both of them lying on the ground. They were rescued and taken to a local health centre. When his condition deteriorated, he was admitted to Malda Medical College Hospital. The mother and daughter died in the early hours of the day during treatment. A pall of gloom descended on the entire village, including the family of the deceased. The bodies were sent to Malda Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
