নদীয়ার করিমপুরঃ ঘটেছে নদীয়া জেলার হোগলবাড়িয়া থানার অন্তর্গত মানিক নগর গ্রাম। পরিবার সূত্রে জানা যায় যে ইন্দ্রজিৎ সরকার নামে ৬২ বছরের এক বৃদ্ধ মাঠে যায় পাঠ ধোয়ার উদ্দেশ্যে এবং সেখানে বাজ পড়ে তার মৃত্যু হয় সকাল সাড়ে এগারোটা নাগাদ। এরপর তাকে করিমপুর রুরাল হাসপাতালে নিয়ে এলে কর্তব্যরত চিকিৎসক তাকে মৃত বলে নদীয়ার করিমপুর থেকে ঘোষণা করে। এরপর উক্ত মৃতদেহটি করিমপুর থানার পুলিশ ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য কৃষ্ণনগর শক্তিনগরে পাঠায়।
Karimpur of Nadia: Manik Nagar village under Hogalbaria police station of Nadia district. According to family sources, a 62-year-old man, Indrajit Sarkar, went to the field to wash lessons and died of lightning at around 11.30 am. Later, he was taken to Karimpur Rural Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead from Karimpur in Nadia. Later, karimpur police sent the body to Krishnanagar Shaktinagar for autopsy.
