মালদা- হাইড্রেন থেকে এক ব্যক্তি উদ্ধারকে ঘিরে চাঞ্চল্য ছড়ালো শনিবার সন্ধ্যায় মালদা শহরের হ্যান্টাকালী মোড় এলাকায়। আহত ব্যক্তিকে উদ্ধার করে বাড়ি পৌঁছানোর ব্যবস্থা করল স্থানীয় যুবকেরা ও মালদা জেলা ট্রাফিক পুলিশ। স্থানীয় পুলিশ সূত্রে জানা যায় আহত ওই ব্যক্তির নাম বিকাশ মন্ডল বাড়ি মালদা জেলার ইংরেজ বাজার থানার অন্তর্গত মহদিপুর এলাকায়। স্থানীয়রা জানান আজ সন্ধ্যায় হেন্টা কালী মোড় এলাকায় ৩৪ নম্বর জাতীয় সড়কের পাশে যে হাইড্রেনে রয়েছে সেখানে এক ব্যক্তিকে পড়ে থাকতে দেখি। খবর দেওয়া হয় মালদা জেলা ট্রাফিক পুলিশকে। ট্রাফিক পুলিশ ও স্থানীয় যুবকদের প্রচেষ্টায় ওই ব্যক্তিকে উদ্ধার করে তার বাড়ি পৌঁছানো ব্যবস্থা করে। কর্মরত এক ট্রাফিক পুলিশ জানান হ্যান্টিকালী মোড়ে ওই ব্যাক্তি হাইড্রেনের পড়ে যায়। এরপরে আমরা খবর পেয়ে সেখানকার স্থানীয় যুবক ও আমাদের প্রচেষ্টায় ওই ব্যক্তিকে উদ্ধার করি। দেখে মনে হচ্ছে মদ্যপ অবস্থায় হাইড্রেনে পড়ে যায়। এরপর খোঁজখবর নিয়ে দেখি ওই ব্যক্তির নাম বিকাশ মন্ডল বাড়ি মহদিপুর এলাকায়। তাকে গাড়িতে করে পৌঁছে দেওয়ার ব্যবস্থা করি।
Malda: A man was rescued from a hydran in Malda town on Saturday evening. Local youths and Malda district traffic police rescued the injured person and arranged for him to reach home. According to local police sources, the injured person has been identified as Bikash Mandal Bari in Mahdipur area under English Bazar police station of Malda district. Locals said they saw a man lying in the hydryan near National Highway-34 in Henta Kali Mor area this evening. Malda district traffic police were informed. With the efforts of the traffic police and local youths, the man was rescued and arranged to reach his house. A traffic police officer said the man fell into the hydrant at The Hantichali intersection. After getting the news, we rescued the local youth and the man with our efforts. It seems that he fell into the hydron in an inebriated state. After searching, I found that the person’s name was Bikash Mandal’s house in Mahdipur area. I arranged for him to be delivered in the car.
