নিজস্ব প্রতিবেদনঃ আজ কলকাতা কর্পোরেশনের ১১১ নং ওয়ার্ডে মাননীয় মন্ত্রী অরূপ বিশ্বাস মহাশয়ের নির্দেশে ও মাননীয় পৌর পিতা সন্দীপ দাস মহাশয়ের উদ্যোগে প্রথম বারের জন্য মহাসমারোহে পালিত হলো শিশু দিবস। শিশুদের প্রিয় চাচা নেহেরুর প্রতিকৃতিতে মালা ও পুষ্প নিবেদন করেন মাননীয় মন্ত্রীর আপ্ত সহায়ক মাননীয় সোমনাথ পাল , মন্ত্রী প্রতিনিধি কুণাল দাস, মাননীয় পৌর পিতা সন্দীপ দাস ও তৃণমূল কংগ্রেসের ১১১ নং ওয়ার্ডের নেতৃত্ব বৃন্দ।এলাকার ৭০০ অধিক শিশুদের মধ্যে ক্যাডবেরি ও বেলুন বিতরণ করা হয়। অনুষ্ঠানের মূল আকর্ষণ ছিল সত্যজিৎ রায় পরিচালিত ” সোনার কেল্লা ‘ চলচ্চিত্র প্রদর্শন। এলাকার ছোটো বড়ো সকলের অংশগ্রহণ ছিল সতস্ফুর্ত। চলচ্চিত্রটি প্রদর্শিত হয় পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সরকারের তথ্য ও সংস্কৃতি দপ্তরের আন্তরিক সহায়তায়।
Today, children’s day was celebrated for the first time in ward no. 111 of Kolkata Corporation under the direction of Hon’ble Minister Arup Biswas And at the initiative of Hon’ble Municipal Father Sandeep Das Mahasaya. Hon’ble Minister’s Personal Assistant Hon’ble Somnath Pal, Minister’s Representative Kunal Das, Hon’ble Municipal Father Sandeep Das and leaders of Ward No. 111 of Trinamool Congress placed wreaths at the portrait of Nehru, the beloved uncle of the children. Cadbury and balloons were distributed among more than 700 children in the area. The main attraction of the event was the screening of the film “Sonar Kella” directed by Satyajit Ray. The participation of everyone, big and small in the area, was spontaneous. The film was screened with the sincere support of the Department of Information and Culture, Government of West Bengal.
