মালদা: বাড়ির অমতে বিয়ে করায় নব দম্পতিকে মারধর করার অভিযোগ উঠল। বুধবার সকালে ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে ইংলিশ বাজার থানার রথবাড়ি এলাকায়। জানা গেছে আক্রান্ত নব দম্পতির নাম পবন কুমার লাল এবং মামনি কিস্কু। জানা যায় গত সোমবার তারা পালিয়ে বিয়ে করে। এই বিয়ে মেনে নিতে পারেনি ছেলের পরিবারবর্গ। অভিযোগ এই কারণে সোমবার সকালে রথবাড়ি এলাকায় ওই নব দম্পতিকে মারধর করা হয়। অভিযোগ উঠেছে ছেলের মা এবং বোনেয বিরুদ্ধে। এই ঘটনার পর ওই নব দম্পতিকে উদ্ধার করে মালদা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে নিয়ে আসা হয়। বর্তমানে তারা সেখানেই চিকিৎসাধীন রয়েছে।

The newly-infected couple have been identified as Pawan Kumar Lal and Mamoni Kisku. It is known that on Monday, they eloped and got married. The boy’s family could not accept this marriage. It is alleged that the newly married couple was beaten up in Rathbari area on Monday morning. Allegations have been made against the boy’s mother and sister. After the incident, the couple was rescued and taken to Malda Medical College Hospital. They are currently being treated there.
