Poddo Polash লক্ষীকান্তপুরের কীর্তন বাড়ির ছেলে বলতে সকলেই এক নামে চেনে কীর্তনীয়া পদ্ম পলাশকে। তাদের বাড়িতে কেউ কোনওদিন চাকরী করেনি, ব্যাবসা করেনি।। তিন পুরুষ ধরে তারা শুধু কবি গান আর কীর্তন গেয়েছে। পদ্ম পলাশের কাছে কীর্তন হলো সাধনা ৷ নিজেদের পারিবারিক পরম্পরাকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যেতেই পদ্ম পলাশ এসেছে সা রে গা মা পা ‘তে। এখানে এসে কীর্তনের পাশাপাশি নানান ধরনের গান গেয়ে বহু মানুষের মন জয় করে নিয়েছেন লক্ষীকান্তপুরের পদ্মপলাশ।
Poddo Polash is the son of Kirtan Ghar of Lakhikantapur and everyone knows Kirtania Padma Palash by the same name. No one in their house has ever worked or done business. For three men, they only sang poet songs and kirtans. Kirtan is sadhana for Padma Palash. Padma Palash has come to Sa Re Ga Ma Pa to take forward their family tradition. Here, along with kirtan, padmaplash of Lakhikantapur has won the hearts of many people by singing various types of songs.
