করিমপুরঃ ছেলের বাইক থেকে পড়ে মায়ের মৃত্যু। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে নদীয়া জেলার এক নম্বর ব্লকের অন্তর্গত দুর্লভপুর গ্রামে। সূত্র অনুযায়ী জানা যায় যে প্রায় ৫০ বছরের পার্বতী সরকার মুর্শিদাবাদ জেলার ভগিরথপুর গ্রামের মেয়ের বাড়ি থেকে তার নিজের বাড়ি আসছিল। আসার পথে দুর্লভপুর ঘাটের কাছে রাস্তার বেহাল পরিস্থিতি হওয়ার জন্য ছেলের বাড়ি থেকে পার্বতী সরকার পড়ে যায়। তাকে ডোমকল হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়। তার শারীরিক অবস্থার অবনতি হওয়ার জন্য তাকে বহরমপুর হাসপাতালে স্থানান্তরিত করা হয় এরপর তার মৃত্যু ঘটে। মৃতদেহটি ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য করিমপুর থানার পুলিশ জেলা সদর হাসপাতাল শক্তিনগরে পাঠায়। পার্বতী সরকার করিমপুর লক্ষীপাড়ার বাসিন্দা ছিলেন।
Karimpur: Mother dies after falling from son’s bike. The incident took place in Durlabhpur village under Block No. 1 of Nadia district. According to sources, Parbati Sarkar, around 50 years old, was coming to her home from her daughter’s house in Bhagirathpur village of Murshidabad district. On the way, Parbati Sarkar fell from her son’s house due to the poor condition of the road near Durlabhpur Ghat. He was taken to Domkal Hospital. He was shifted to Berhampur Hospital after his physical condition deteriorated, following which he died. Karimpur police sent the body to Shaktinagar Sadar Hospital for autopsy. Parbati Sarkar was a resident of Karimpur Lakhipara.
