ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ গৌতম বুদ্ধকে শ্রদ্ধা করতেন স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ। গৌতম বুদ্ধের আদর্শে গড়ে ওঠা কলকাতার চিনার পার্কের সিদ্ধার্থ ইউনাইটেড সোস্যাল ওয়েলফেয়ার মিশনের উদ্যোগে স্বামী বিবেকানন্দের ১৬১ তম জন্ম তিথি পালিত হল। চিনার পার্কের মিশনে স্বামী বিবেকানন্দের প্রতিকৃতিতে মালা দিয়ে শ্রদ্ধা জানান মিশনের প্রধান বুদ্ধপ্রিয় মহাথেরো। তিনি বলেন, স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ তাঁর আদর্শ। স্বামী বিবেকানন্দের আদর্শে যুব সমাজকে এগিয়ে যেতে বলেন তিনি। পরে স্বামীজীর জন্মতিথিতে এক রক্তদান শিবির ও শীতবস্ত্র বিতরণ শিবির অনুষ্ঠীত হয়। এ দিনের অনুষ্ঠানে এলাকার কয়েকশ মানুষকে শীতবস্ত্র তুলে দেন মিশনের প্রধান বুদ্ধপ্রিয় মহাথেরো।

The 161st birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated at the initiative of Siddhartha United Social Welfare Mission at Chinar Park in Kolkata. The head of the mission, Buddhapriya Mahathero, paid homage to Swami Vivekananda by garlanding his portrait at the mission at Chinar Park. “Swami Vivekananda is his idol. He asked the youth to move forward in the ideology of Swami Vivekananda. Later, a blood donation camp and winter clothing distribution camp were organized on the birth anniversary of Swamiji. On the occasion, the head of the mission, Buddhapriya Mahathero, handed over winter clothes to hundreds of people in the area.
