মালদা: কালীপুজো উপলক্ষে আয়োজন করা হল দিবা রাত্রিকালীন এক ফুটবল টুর্নামেন্টের। ভারত বাংলাদেশ সীমান্তের পিঁয়াজ বাড়ি এলাকায় আয়োজন করা হয়েছিল এই প্রতিযোগিতার। এই রাজ্যের পাশাপাশি বিভিন্ন রাজ্য থেকেও অংশ নেই প্রতিযোগিরা। জানাজায় মোট ১৬ টি দল অংশ নিয়েছে। কালীপূজা উপলক্ষে এই প্রথম বিশিষ্ট সমাজসেবী প্রসেনজিৎ ঘোষের সহযোগিতায় অনুষ্ঠিত হচ্ছে এই দিবারাত্র কালীন প্রতিযোগিতা। শুক্রবার দুপুরে এই খেলার অনুষ্ঠানিক উদ্বোধন করা হয়। উপস্থিত ছিলেন ইংলিশ বাজার পঞ্চায়েত সমিতির সভাপতি লিপিকা বর্মন ঘোষ, মালদা জেলা পরিষদের কর্মাধ্যক্ষ প্রতিভা সিংহ, সমাজসেবী তথা তৃণমূল নেতা বাপি ঘোষ,কাশি ঘোষ সহ অন্যান্যরা।
Malda: A day-night football tournament has been organized on the occasion of Kali Puja. The competition was organized in the Onion Bari area of the India-Bangladesh border.
