মালদা: সাম্প্রদায়িক সম্প্রীতির নজির। শিবরাত্রি উপলক্ষে ইংরেজবাজারের বাগবাড়ি খোয়াড় মোড়ে শনিবার সন্ধ্যায় ভক্তদের মধ্যে জল এবং ফলমূল বিতরণ করল মুসলিম সম্প্রদায়ের মানুষজন। শনিবার ছিল মহা শিবরাত্রি। হিন্দু সম্প্রদায়ের অন্যতম উৎসব। এই মর্মে শনিবার সকাল থেকেই মালদা জেলার বিভিন্ন প্রান্ত থেকে ভক্তরা মানিকচকের উদ্দেশ্যে রওনা হয়েছেন। সেখানে গঙ্গা স্থান করে পায়ে হেঁটে ভক্তরা অমৃতি শিব মন্দিরের পাশাপাশি রাস্তায় থাকা একাধিক মন্দিরে জল ঢালতে ঢালতে বাড়ি পৌঁছাচ্ছেন। সেই সকল ভক্তদের জন্য সাম্প্রদায়িক সম্প্রীতির বার্তা দিতে কিছু মুসলিম সম্প্রদায়ের যুবক একত্রিত হয়ে পানীয় জল, শরবত এবং ফলমূলের ব্যবস্থা করে। বিশিষ্ট সমাজসেবী সাবির শেখের উদ্যোগে সামিল হন এলাকার মুসলিম সম্প্রদায়ের যুবকরা। এই বিষয়ে বিশিষ্ট সমাজসেবী সাবির শেখ জানান, ধর্ম যার যার উৎসব সকলের। রাজ্যজুড়ে সাম্প্রদায়িক সম্প্রীতির বার্তা ছড়িয়ে দিতেই তাদের এই উদ্যোগ।
