মৃন্ময় রায়, মেখলিগঞ্জঃ স্বাস্থ্যই সম্পদ। অনেকে রয়েছেন টাকায় অভাবে চিকিৎসা করাতে পারেন না। তাদের কথা চিন্তা করে এগিয়ে এলো BSF। মেখলিগঞ্জ সীমান্তের বিএসএফের ৯৮ নম্বর ব্যাটালিয়নের উদ্যোগে শনিবার স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষা শিবির অনুষ্ঠিত হল মেখলিগঞ্জ ব্লকের ভোটবাড়িতে। এদিন এই শিবিরের উদ্বোধন করেন স্থানীয় আশা কর্মী কুন্তীবালা দেবনাথ। অনুষ্ঠানে বিএসএফের ৯৮ নং ব্যাটালিয়নের সিও দীপক কুমার,ভোটবাড়ি গ্রামপঞ্চায়েত প্রধান উপেন রায় প্রমুখ উপস্থিত ছিলেন। এদিনের শিবিরে চিকিৎসকগণ রোগীদের স্বাস্থ্য পরীক্ষা করে বিনামূল্যে ওষুধও দিয়েছেন। সীমান্ত সংলগ্ন গ্রাম এলাকাযর মানুষের জন্য BSF এর তরফে আরও একাধিক পরিকল্পনা রয়েছে বলে জানানো হয়েছে। মানুষের পাশে BSF-এর এই কর্মসূচির প্রশংসা করেছেন স্থানীয় বাসিন্দারা।

A health check-up camp was held at Bhotbari in Mekhliganj block on Saturday at the initiative of bsf’s 98th battalion on the Mekhliganj border. The camp was inaugurated by local ASHA worker Kuntibala Debnath. BSF’s 98th Battalion CO Deepak Kumar, Bhotbari Gram Panchayat Chief Upen Roy and others were present on the occasion. In today’s camp, the doctors examined the health of the patients and gave free medicines. The BSF has several other plans for the people of the rural areas along the border. Local residents have praised the BSF’s programme on the side of the people.
