ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ সম্প্রতি তিনদিন ধরে বেলঘরিয়া রথতলার নজরুল মঞ্চ এবং সমাজ সদনে আয়োজিত হলো বেলঘরিয়া এথিকের এই বছরের নাট্য-উৎসব নাট্যমিলনমেলা ২০২৩। নজরুল মঞ্চে প্রথমদিন উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে বীরেন্দ্র চট্টোপাধ্যায়ের কবিতা ও প্রতুল মুখোপাধ্যায়ের সুরে এথিক-এর সদস্যদের দুটি গানের পর তারা সম্মানিত করলেন – ‘মঞ্চ-প্রান্তের বন্ধু’দের। কলকাতার বিভিন্ন মঞ্চে নাটক মঞ্চায়নের নেপথ্যে যারা কাজ করে চলেন – ব্যানার-হোর্ডিং লাগান, কাউন্টার সামলান কিংবা ক্যান্টিন চালান: যাঁদের ছাড়া কোনো নাটকের সুষ্ঠ মঞ্চায়ন হয়না, কিন্তু যাঁরা স্বীকৃত হন না কোনো নাটকের কার্টেন কল-এই, এরকম ছয়জন মানুষকে এথিক সম্মান জানালেন। গিরিশ মঞ্চের শিখা সাহা, শ্যামল মন্ডল, একাডেমী অফ ফাইন আর্টসের মহ. মেহ্ফুজ আলি(আলম), চন্দন সেনগুপ্ত, তপন থিয়েটারের নমিতা সেন এবং মধুসূদন মঞ্চের দীপঙ্কর হালদার, এই সম্মান পেলেন। দুই, উৎসবের সময়ে সমাজ সদনের স্পেসে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ নাট্য আকাদেমির সৌজন্যে আয়োজিত হল এক বিশেষ প্রদর্শনী – “১৫০ বছরে বাংলা সাধারণ রঙ্গালয়”।
প্রথমদিন নজরুল মঞ্চে মঞ্চস্থ হয় এথিকের নাটক “লাইল্যাক তোমাকে”। নাটক-নির্দেশনা দেবাশিস সেনগুপ্ত। এদিনের শেষ অনুষ্ঠান ছিল গানের ফেরিওয়ালা- আর. জে রাজা দাস পরিচালিত কবিতা স্টুডিওর শ্রুতি অভিনয় – দুই রাজার গপ্পো।
দ্বিতীয়দিন নজরুল মঞ্চে মঞ্চস্থ হয় বারাসাত রমেশপল্লী থিয়েটার গ্রুপ প্রযোজিত ও সুদীপ সিংহ নির্দেশিত নাটক “সংসার”। তারপর গোবরডাঙা নক্শা-র আশিস দাস পরিচালিত নাটক “হুলো” উপস্থাপিত হয়। মঞ্চস্থ হয় অভি সেনগুপ্ত পরিচালিত অঙ্গন বেলঘরিয়া-র নাটক “রিভাসাইরাস ব্রেনোচুসেলস্”।এইদিন এর শেষ আকর্শন ছিল রং-বেরং পাপেট থিয়েটারের পুতুল নাটক। অতীশ মুখোপাধ্যায়ের পরিচালনায় মঞ্চস্থ হয়” বাঘের বিয়ে ও ফটাং”।
শেষদিন সমাজ সদনের মঞ্চে। প্রথমে এথিক-এর সদস্যরা পরিবেশন করেন তাঁদের বিভিন্ন নাটক থেকে নির্বাচিত কিছু গানের বর্ণময় অনুষ্ঠান। তারপর শুভেন্দু মুখোপাধ্যায়ের নির্দেশনায় টালিগঞ্জ নির্বাক দল মূকাভিনয় মঞ্চস্থ হয়।এই উৎসবের শেষ নাটকটি নজরুল মঞ্চে বেলঘরিয়া এথিক-এর নিজস্ব প্রযোজনা বাদল সরকারের নাটক “পাগলা ঘোড়া-“র মঞ্চায়ন হয়। এই নাটকই ছিল এবারের উৎসবের অন্যতম প্রধান আকর্ষণ। “পাগলা ঘোড়া” এথিক-এর বহু অভিনিত এবং উচ্চ প্রশংসিত প্রযোজনা। দেবাশিস সেনগুপ্তের সম্পাদনা ও নির্দেশনায় নাটক ধ্রুপদী বাংলা নাটকের আধুনিক থিয়েটারি প্রয়োগ-পরীক্ষার এক সফল নিদর্শন। সৌমেন চক্রবর্তীর আলো এবং কাকলি মজুমদারের অভিনয় একে অন্যের পরিপূরক হয়ে ওঠে “পাগলা ঘোড়ার ” নাটকে।
Indrajit Aich: This year’s drama festival of Belgharia Ethic, NatyaMilan Mela 2023 was organized at Nazrul Mancha and Samaj Sadan of Belgharia Rathtala for three days recently. At the opening ceremony of the first day of Nazrul Mancha, they honored the members of The Ethic after two songs in the poems of Birendra Chattopadhyay and the tune of Pratul Mukherjee – the ‘friends of the stage-end’. Those who work behind the staging of plays in various stages of Kolkata – put up banners, hoardings, handle counters or run canteens: without whom no play is staged properly, but who are not recognized as the curtain call of a play– these six people were honored. Shikha Saha, Shyamal Mandal of Girish Manch, Mah of the Academy of Fine Arts. Mehfuz Ali (Alam), Chandan Sengupta, Namita Sen of Tapan Theatre and Dipankar Halder of Madhusudan Mancha received the award. Two, during the festival, a special exhibition was organized by the West Bengal Natya Akademi in the space of Samaj Sadan – “150 Years of Bangla Sadharan Rangalaya”.
On the first day, the play “Lailac Tomake” was staged at Nazrul Mancha. The play is directed by Debashis Sengupta. The last event of the day was the ferryman of the song – R. Shruti Acting of Kavita Studio directed by J. Raja Das – The Gappo of The Two Kings.
On the second day, the drama “Sansar”, produced by Barasat Rameshpalli Theatre Group and directed by Sudip Singh, was staged at Nazrul Mancha. Then the play “Hulu” directed by Ashish Das of Gobardanga Naksha was presented. Angan Belgharia’s play “Rivacirus Brenochuceles” directed by Abhi Sengupta was staged. Its last attraction on this day was the puppet play of The Rang-Berang Puppet Theatre. Under the direction of Atish Mukherjee, “Tiger’s Wedding and Fatang” was staged.
The last day on the stage of the society. At first, the members of Ethic performed a colorful program of some of the songs selected from their various plays. Then, under the direction of Suvendu Mukherjee, the Tollygunge Nirbaak Dal Mukavinoy was staged. The last play of the festival was staged at Nazrul Mancha by Belgharia Ethic’s own production Badal Sarkar’s play “Pagla Ghora”. This play was one of the main attractions of this year’s festival. “Mad Horse” is a much-acclaimed and highly acclaimed production of Ethic. Edited and directed by Debashis Sengupta, the play is a successful example of the modern theatrical application of classical Bengali drama. Soumen Chakraborty’s Alo and Kakoli Majumdar’s performance complemented each other in the play “Pagla Ghoda”.
