ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ কলকাতার আইসিসিআর-এর সত্যজিত রায় অডিটোরিয়ামে ‘সৎসঙ্গ ফাউণ্ডেশন’-এর প্রতিষ্ঠাতা তথা ধর্মীয় শিক্ষক শ্রী এম লিখিত দুই গ্রন্থের ভাষান্তরিত রূপ উন্মোচিত হল । ‘সৎসঙ্গ ফাউণ্ডেশন’-এর তরফ থেকে জানানো হয়েছে, “বাংলা ভাষায় ভাষান্তরিত হল শ্রী এম রচিত ‘হোমকামিং অ্যাণ্ড আদার স্টোরিজ’ এবং অসমিয়া ভাষায় ভাষান্তরিত হল আত্মজীবনী মূলক গ্রন্থ ‘অ্যাপরেনটিসড টু আ হিমালয়ান মাস্টার’।” বলে রাখা ভালো, ২০১১ সালে প্রকাশিত ‘অ্যাপ্রেন্টিসড্ টু আ হিমালয়ান মাস্টার’ বইটা অসমিয়া ভাষায় ভাষান্তরিত করেছেন অঞ্জন শর্মা এবং ‘২০২০ সালে প্রকাশিত ‘হোমকামিং অ্যাণ্ড আদার স্টোরিজ’ বইটা বাংলা ভাষায় ভাষান্তরিত করেছেন ঋত্বিক মুখার্জী। প্রসঙ্গত উল্লেখ্য, ১৯৪৯ সালের ৬ নভেম্বর কেরালার তিরুচিরাপল্লীতে এক মুসলিম পরিবারে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন শ্রী এম। যৌবনের প্রারম্ভে তিনি চলে যান হিমালয়ে। সেখানে সাড়ে তিন বছর কাটাবার পরে তিনি ফিরে আসেন সমতলে। পরবর্তী সময়ে শিক্ষা, স্বাস্থ্য ও দক্ষতা বিকাশের হেতু তিনি স্থাপন করেন ‘সৎসঙ্গ ফাউণ্ডেশন’।
Indrajit I. The translated form of two books written by religious teacher Sri M., founder of ‘Satsang Foundation’, was unveiled at the Satyajit Roy Auditorium of ICCR, Kolkata. According to Satsang Foundation, “Homecoming and Other Stories” written by Sri M has been translated into Bengali and the autobiographical book “Apprentice to a Himalayan Master” has been translated into Assamese. It is good to say that the book ‘Apprentice to a Himalayan Master’ published in 2011 was translated into Assamese language by Anjan Sharma and the book ‘Homecoming and other stories’ published in 2020 was translated into Bengali language by Ritvik Mukherjee. It should be noted that Mr. M. was born on November 6, 1949 in Tiruchirappalli, Kerala in a Muslim family. In his early youth he went to the Himalayas. After spending three and a half years there, he returned to the plains. Later he established ‘Satsang Foundation’ for education, health and skill development.
