নিজস্ব সংবাদাদাতাঃ মোহনবাগান অ্যাথলেটিক ক্লাবের সাধারণ সম্পাদক দেবাশিস দত্তের বিবৃতি দিয়ে প্রেস কনফারেন্স শুরু হয়, -“আমরা আমুজি প্রোইন্দিয়ার সহযোগিতায় মোহনবাগান স্পোর্টস একাডেমি চালু করার ঘোষণা দিতে পেরে আনন্দিত, যার লক্ষ্য ক্রিকেটের বিকাশ, লালন, প্রচার এবং ড্রাইভিং প্রতিভা। পরবর্তী স্তরে লক্ষ্য হল যতটা সম্ভব অল্পবয়সী, স্কুলগামী বাচ্চাদের জড়িত করা, যারা আগামী দিনের বুদবুদ ক্রীড়া প্রতিভা। মোহনবাগান স্পোর্টস অ্যাকাডেমি 2025 সালের মার্চের মধ্যে পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্যের 12টি জেলায় পৌঁছানোর আকাঙ্খা করছে ৷ বর্তমানে, আমাদের কলকাতা, উত্তর 24 পরগণা, হুগলি, হাওড়াতে আমাদের উপস্থিতি রয়েছে এবং আমরা মেদিনীপুর, মুর্শিদাবাদ এবং অগ্রসর আলোচনা করছি, শিলিগুড়ি।”
তন্ময় চ্যাটার্জি, মোহনবাগান AC-এর ক্রিকেট সেক্রেটারি ঘোষণা করতে পেরে উচ্ছ্বসিত “আমরা 15-20টি বাছাই করা স্কুলে প্রয়োজনীয় প্রশিক্ষণ এবং পরামর্শ প্রদান করব যাতে তরুণ ক্রিকেটারদের বিকাশ বাড়ানো যায়৷ আমরা ‘LOTS’ তত্ত্বে বিশ্বাস করি যেখানে L মানে লোকেশন সুবিধা, O মানে হল CAB খেলার সুযোগের পাশাপাশি MB AC, T মানে হল প্রযুক্তি দ্বারা চালিত সঠিক কৌশল এবং S মানে নিরাপত্তা ও নিরাপত্তা।”
মোহনবাগান স্পোর্টস অ্যাকাডেমিতে 6 বছর থেকে পেশাদার পর্যন্ত একটি পথ থাকবে। তারা ক্রিকেট অ্যাসোসিয়েশন অফ বেঙ্গল-এর অধীনে বিভিন্ন বয়স-গোষ্ঠীর টুর্নামেন্টে এমবিএসএ দল গঠন করবে এমবিএসএ-এর বিভিন্ন অর্থপ্রদান কেন্দ্র থাকবে তবে একটি উৎকর্ষ কেন্দ্র থাকবে যেখানে, তাদের প্রতিভাকে পরবর্তী স্তরে নিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্য স্কাউট করব এবং লালন করব।
এই অ্যাকাডেমির অতিরিক্ত ইউএসপি সম্পর্কে উত্তর দেওয়ার সময়, মোহনবাগান স্পোর্টস অ্যাকাডেমির ম্যানেজিং কমিটির চেয়ারম্যান অপরূপ চক্রবর্তী বলেন, “আমরা আমাদের একাডেমি ম্যানেজমেন্ট পার্টনার হিসেবে অ্যাকাডওয়্যার স্পোর্টস অ্যাপ পেয়েছি। একবার লগ ইন করলে MBSA অ্যাডমিনিস্ট্রেটর, ছাত্রছাত্রী, কোচ, স্কুল অ্যাডমিন, অভিভাবকরা সকলেই বাচ্চাদের উপস্থিতি, দক্ষতা উন্নয়নের ভিডিও ইত্যাদির অ্যাক্সেস পেতে পারেন। এই প্রক্রিয়াটি বাচ্চাদের অগ্রগতি সম্পর্কে সবাইকে সচেতন করবে।
ন্যাশনাল ক্রিকেট একাডেমি ফ্যাকাল্টির বিশেষজ্ঞদের সাথে আমরা ‘সসপেক্ট অ্যাকশন রেক্টিফিকেশন ক্যাম্প’ও করব এবং নিরাপত্তার দিকে লক্ষ্য রেখে আমরা 1 লাখ টাকার স্পোর্টস অ্যাক্সিডেন্টাল ইন্স্যুরেন্সের আশ্বাস দিয়েছি। তা ছাড়া আমরা একটি বার্ষিক কার্ডিও চেকআপ করব বিশেষ করে 8-14 বছরের বাচ্চাদের” একাডেমী পেশাদারভাবে পরিচালিত হবে এবং আধুনিক সুযোগ-সুবিধা সহ নিয়মিত প্রশিক্ষণ এবং মূল্যায়ন সহ গুণগত নিশ্চিত শংসাপত্র এবং স্বয়ংক্রিয় রেকর্ড রাখার দ্বারা সমর্থিত।
এর সাথে, একাডেমি ক্রীড়া ব্যক্তিদের সামগ্রিক বিকাশে বিশ্বাস করে এবং এইভাবে, যোগ্য, সেরা-শ্রেণীর পুষ্টিবিদ, ফিজিওথেরাপিস্ট, শারীরিক ফিটনেস প্রশিক্ষক, মানসিক দৃঢ়তা প্রশিক্ষক এবং ক্রীড়া বিজ্ঞান ও ওষুধ বিশেষজ্ঞ প্রদান করবে। এমবিএসএ-তে মিস্টার কেশব রঞ্জন ব্যানার্জি (এম এস ধোনির কোচ) এবং মিস্টার উত্তম মজুমদার (ইশান কিশানের কোচ এবং কয়েকজন বর্তমান আইপিএল খেলোয়াড়) এর মতো বিখ্যাত মাস্টার কোচ রয়েছে। এমবিএসএ-এর একজন অভিজ্ঞ উপদেষ্টা যেমন ডঃ লায়লা দাস – স্পোর্টস মেডিসিন, প্রাক্তন এসএআই, ডঃ প্রলয় মজুমদার, প্রাক্তন প্রধান ক্রীড়া বিজ্ঞান, ভারত এবং শ্রী মৃণাল চক্রবর্তী, ক্রীড়া মনোবিজ্ঞানী, ভারতীয় অলিম্পিক দল।
The Press Conference begins with the statement of Debashis Dutta, General Secretary of Mohun Bagan Athletic Club, -“We are delighted to announce the launch of the Mohun Bagan Sports Academy in collaboration with Amuzi Proindia which aims at developing, nurturing, promoting and driving cricket talent to the next level. The aim is involving as many youngsters, school-going children as possible, who are the bubbling sporting talent of tomorrow. Mohun Bagan Sports Academy aspires to reach out to 12 districts in the state of West Bengal, by March, 2025. Currently, we have our presence in Kolkata, North 24 Parganas, Hooghly, Howrah and we are in advanced talks in Midnapore, Murshidabad and Siliguri.”
Tanmoy Chatterjee, Cricket Secretary of Mohun Bagan AC is excited to announce “we would provide necessary training and mentoring in 15-20 selective schools to enhance the development of young cricketers. We believe in ‘LOTS’ theory where L stands for Location advantage, O stands for Opportunity to play CAB as well as MB AC, T stands for correct Technique driven by Technology and S stands for Safety and Security.”
Mohun Bagan Sports Academy shall have a pathway from 6 years till Professionals. They will be putting up MBSA team in various age-group tournaments under the aegis of the Cricket Association of Bengal. MBSA will have different paid centers but have One Center of Excellence where we will Scout and nourish the talent to take them to the next level.
While answering about the added USP of this academy, Aparup Chakraborty, the Chairman of Managing Committee of Mohun Bagan Sports Academy said “We got Acadware Sports App as our Academy Management partner. Once logged in the MBSA Administrator, Students, Coaches, School Admin, Parents all can get an access to kids’ attendance, skill development videos, etc. This process will make everyone aware about the progress of the kids.
We will also have ‘Suspect Action Rectification Camp ’with the experts of National Cricket Academy Faculties and looking at the Safety we have introduced a Sum assured of rupees 1 Lac Sports Accidental Insurance. Apart from that we will do an annual Cardio checkup especially from 8-14 years kids”
The Academy shall be professionally managed and equipped with modern facilities along with regular training and assessment including quality assured certification and backed by automated record keeping. Along with this, the Academy believes in the holistic development of sports persons and thus, will be providing qualified, best-in-class nutritionists, physiotherapists, physical fitness trainers, mental toughness trainers and sports science and medicine specialists. MBSA has renowned Master Coaches like Mr Keshab Ranjan Banerjee ( Coach of M S Dhoni) and Mr Uttam Mazumder (Coach of Ishan Kishan and few current IPL players).
