মালদা: স্বাস্থ্য সাথীর কার্ড করতে এসে হয়রানির শিকার। প্রতিবাদে মঙ্গলবার সকালে পাকুয়াহাট এলাকায় মালদা নালাগোলা রাজ্য সড়ক অবরোধ করে বিক্ষোভ স্থানীয়দের। মালদার বামনগোলা ব্লকে স্বাস্থ্য সাথী কার্ড করতে এসে হয়রানি শিকার সাধারণ মানুষ। সকাল থেকে দাঁড়িয়ে থেকেও দেখা মিলেনি কোন কর্মীর বলে অভিযোগ। এই নিয়ে খুব উগড়ে দেন এলাকাবাসীরা। এলাকাবাসীর অভিযোগ গত ১৬ তারিখে স্বাস্থ্য সাথীর কার্ড করার কাজ শুরু হয়। কয়েকটা কাজ শেষ করে বামনগোলা ব্লকের অফিস কর্মীরা জানিয়ে দেয় আগামী মঙ্গলবার ও বুধবার স্বাস্থ্য সাথীর কার্ড করা হবে। সেই কথা অনুযায়ী বামনগোলা ব্লকের বিভিন্ন গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের বাসিন্দারা সকাল দশটা থেকেই বিডিও অফিসে উপস্থিত হয়। সকাল থেকে বিডিও অফিসে এসে বহু অপেক্ষা করে দেখা মেলেনি স্বাস্থ্য সাথী কার্ডের কর্মীদের।অফিসের বিভিন্ন কর্মীদের জিজ্ঞাসা করা হলে তারা জানিয়ে দেয় আজ কোন স্বাস্থ্য সাথী কার্ড করা হবেনা।আজ তাদের ডাকা হয়নি বলে অভিযোগ। এরপরই ক্ষোভ উগড়ে দেন তারা। মালদা নালাগোলা রাজ্য সড়কের পাকুয়াহাট এলাকায় পথ অবরোধ করে বিক্ষোভ দেখাতে থাকেন তাঁরা। প্রায় ঘন্টাখানেক অবরোধের পর অবশেষ খবর পেয়ে বামনগোলা থানার পুলিশ ও বামনগোলা ব্লকের জয়েন বিডিও ঘটনাস্থলে এসে তাদের আশ্বাস দেওয়া হয় আগামী দিনগুলিতে স্বাস্থ্য সাথীর কার্ড করা হবে তাদের এলাকায় এবং কবে কোন জায়গায় হবে গ্রাম পঞ্চায়েতের মাধ্যমে জানিয়ে দেওয়া হবে। তারপরেই তারা পথ অবরোধ তুলে নেন এবং পরে যান চলাচল স্বাভাবিক হয়।

After about an hour of siege, the police of Bamongola police station and Jain BDO of Bamongola block came to the spot and assured them that health card will be issued in their area in the coming days and when it will be done will be informed through the village panchayat. Only then did they lift the road blockade and later traffic flow was normalized.
