ইন্দ্রজিৎ আইচঃ দীর্ঘদিন ধরে সারা ভারতবর্ষে পোস্ট অফিস গুলোয় নানা সমস্যা হয়ে চলেছে। প্রায় দিন লিঙ্ক ফেলিওর থাকছে। গ্রাহকরা সময় মতন টাকা তোলা বা জমা দিতে পারছে না, টাকা তোলা জমা করার সময় প্যান কার্ড চাইছে পোস্ট অফিস। পোস্ট ম্যান সময় মতন চিঠি বাড়িতে দেয় না, এজেন্টরা কমিশন ঠিক মতন পাচ্ছে না, নতুন লাইসেন্স দেওয়া বন্ধ আছে, এজেন্টরা মারা গেলে তাদের পরিবারের কাউকে লাইসেন্স দেওয়া হচ্ছে না কেন ??? গতকাল কলকাতা প্রেস ক্লাবে এক সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে ন্যাশনাল স্মল সেভিংস এজেন্টস এসোসিয়েশনের সাধারণ সম্পাদক মনোজ কুমার মিশ্র এই রকম ২২ দফা দাবি জানালো। 
সাধারণ সচিব পশ্চিমবঙ্গ সার্কেলের সিঞ্চন চ্যাটার্জী জানালেন এই সব দাবি নিয়ে আগামী ১৬ ও ১৭ ই জুন বৃহস্পতিবার ও শুক্রবার সকাল ৯ টা থেকে সন্ধে ৭ টা পর্যন্ত হাওড়া শরৎ সদনে অনুষ্ঠিত হতে চলেছে পঞ্চম ন্যাশনাল কনফারেন্স। সারা ভারতে ৫ লক্ষ এজেন্ট আছে। এই রাষ্ট্রীয় সম্মেলনে উপস্থিত থাকবে ১৫০০ হাজার এজেন্ট। ২২ দফা দাবি পূরণ করার জন্য ও সংগঠনের শক্তি বৃদ্ধি করার উদ্দেশে এই সন্মেলন করা। প্রেস ক্লাবে এই সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে উপস্থিত ছিলেন সংস্থার প্রেসিডেন্ট রণেশ চন্দ্র সাহা, সাধারণ সম্পাদক সৌমিত্র দত্ত।

At a press conference at the Kolkata Press Club yesterday, Manoj Kumar Mishra, general secretary of the National Small Saving Agents’ Association, made a 22-point demand. General Secretary, West Bengal Circle, Sinchan Chatterjee said that the fifth National Conference will be held at Howrah Sarat Sadan from 9 am to 7 pm on Thursday and Friday, June 16 and 17 with these demands. There are 500,000 agents across India. 1,500,000 agents will be present at the state conference. The conference is aimed at fulfilling the 22-point demand and increasing the strength of the organization. The press conference at the Press Club was attended by the organisation’s president Ranesh Chandra Saha and general secretary Saumitra Dutta.
