এরপর নদিয়া জেলা চাইল্ড লাইন রাত দুটো নাগাদ উদ্ধার করে নিয়ে যায় ঐ শিশুটিকে। চাইল্ড লাইনের প্রতিনিধি জানান, রানাঘাটে রেখে প্রতিপালন করা হবে। অন্যদিকে তার মায়ের সাথে পুনরায় যোগাযোগের চেষ্টা করা হবে।
