মালদা,২৯ আগস্ট : কাচা বাদাম দাদা, কাঁচা বাদাম.. এই গান গেয়ে জগৎ বিখ্যাত হয়েছিলেন ভুবন বাদ্যকর।
আর সেই বাদাম এবং খোসা দিয়ে দুর্গা প্রতিমার সাজ তৈরি করতে ব্যস্ত শিল্পী সুশান্ত সরকার। মালদা শহরের বিশ্বনাথ মোড় এলাকায় এবছর তিনি তৈরি করছেন ১৯ টি দুর্গা প্রতিমা। এর মধ্যে অন্যতম মালদা শহরের রায়পাড়া আরতি সংঘের দুর্গা প্রতিমা। এবছর প্রতিমার মূল আকর্ষণ কাঁচা বাদাম এবং তার খোসা দিয়ে তৈরি দেবীর সাজ। প্রতিবছর নতুন কিছু তৈরির চেষ্টা করেন সুশান্ত বাবু। এবছর ভুবন বাদ্যকারের গাওয়া কাঁচা বাদাম দাদা, কাঁচা বাদাম.. এই গানটি জগত বিখ্যাত হয়। সেই বাদাম দিয়ে দুর্গা প্রতিমার সাজ তৈরি করছেন শিল্পী। তিনি আশা করেন এই প্রতিমা দর্শকদের মন জয় করবে। প্রতিমার দাম রেখেছেন ৮৫ হাজার টাকা। প্রতিমা ঠাঁই পাবে মালদা শহরের রায়পাড়া আরতি সংঘের পূজা মন্ডপে। উপকরণ হিসেবে ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে কার্ডবোর্ড, ফেভিকল আঠা রঙিন সুতো, বাদামের খোসা এবং কাঁচা বাদাম। আর কয়েক সপ্তাহ পরেই বাঙালির বড় উৎসব দুর্গাপূজা। বাংলার মুখ্যমন্ত্রী ঘোষণা করেছেন ১১ দিন ছুটি থাকবে দুর্গাপূজার। জেলার বহু ক্লাব মহালয়ার দিন থেকে পূজা মন্ডপের উদ্বোধন শুরু করবে। ফলে চরম ব্যস্ততা এখন কুমারটুলিতে। শিল্পী সুশান্ত সরকার জানান, এবছর মোট ১৯ টি দুর্গা প্রতিমা তৈরি করছেন তিনি। এর মধ্যে অন্যতম রায়পাড়া আরতি সংঘের দুর্গা প্রতিমা। তিনি আশা করেন মন কারবে এই দুর্গা প্রতিমা।

Many clubs in the district will start inaugurating puja pandals from mahalaya day. As a result, extreme busyness is now in Kumartuli.
