বিশ্বজিৎ রায়ের রিপোর্টঃ নদীয়ার করিমপুরে সিপিআইএমের এক নম্বর এরিয়া কমিটির পক্ষ থেকে চোর ধরো জেলে ভরো এই আন্দোলন হল। সিপিআইএম পার্টি অফিস থেকে দীর্ঘ মিছিল সারা করিমপুর পরিক্রমা করে করিমপুর বাসস্ট্যান্ডের সামনে এসে জমায়েত হয়। এরপর এখানে পার্থ চট্টোপাধ্যায়ের কুশ পুতুল পোড়ানো হয়। অনুষ্ঠানে উপস্থিত ছিলেন করিমপুর এরিয়া কমিটির সম্পাদক সন্দীপন ব্যানার্জি সহ রীতা সরকার শিক্ষক অনির্বাণ সরকার শংকর মন্ডল নাদির হোসেন মন্ডল সহ আরো অনেকে।
Biswajit Roy’s report: The movement took place on behalf of cpim’s number one area committee at Karimpur in Nadia. A long procession from the CPIM party office went around Karimpur and gathered in front of the Karimpur bus stand. After that, the kush doll of Partha Chattopadhyay was burnt here. Also present on the occasion were Karimpur Area Committee Secretary Sandipan Banerjee along with Rita Sarkar teacher Anirban Sarkar Shankar Mandal Nadir Hossain Mandal and many others.
