গোপাল বিশ্বাস নদীয়া-ঃ ৩ রা সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২২, নবদ্বীপ রাজ্য সাধারণ হাসপাতাল ব্লাড ব্যাংক থেকে এবার উদ্বৃত্ত রক্ত পাঠানো হলো রামপুরহাটে। শনিবার দুপুরে নদীয়ার নবদ্বীপ রাজ্য সাধারণ হাসপাতালের সুপারের তত্বাবধানে ব্লাড ব্যাংক কর্তৃপক্ষের তরফে ৩০৪ চার ইউনিট উদ্বৃত্ত রক্ত তুলে দিলেন রামপুরহাট মেডিকেল কলেজ ব্লাড ব্যাংক কর্তৃপক্ষের হাতে।জানা যায় এর আগেও নবদ্বীপ ব্লাড ব্যাংক থেকে উদ্বৃত্ত রক্ত পাঠানো হয়েছিল বিভিন্ন ব্লাড ব্যাংকে। সম্প্রতি রামপুরহাট মেডিকেল কলেজ ব্লাড ব্যাংক প্রয়োজনীয় রক্তের জন্য যোগাযোগ করে নবদ্বীপ হাসপাতাল ব্লাড ব্যাংক কর্তৃপক্ষের সাথে।তারই পরিপ্রেক্ষিতে এই দিন রামপুরহাট মেডিকেল কলেজ ব্লাড ব্যাংক কর্তৃপক্ষের হাতে নবদ্বীপ রাজ্য সাধারণ হাসপাতাল ব্লাড ব্যাংকের পক্ষ থেকে উদ্বৃত্ত ৩০৪ ইউনিট রক্ত তুলে দেওয়া হয় তাদের হাতে। নবদ্বীপের স্থানীয় স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠন থেকে শুরু করে একাধিক ক্লাব সংগঠনগুলি বিভিন্ন অনুষ্ঠান উপলক্ষে স্বেচ্ছায় রক্তদান শিবিরের উদ্যোগ নিয়ে থাকেন, শুধুমাত্র সেই কারণেই নিজেদের এলাকায় রক্তের চাহিদা মিটিয়ে দূরবর্তী হাসপাতাল বা ব্লাড ব্যাংকের হাতে উদ্বৃত্ত রক্ত তুলে দেওয়া সম্ভব হচ্ছে বলে এই দিন জানান নবদ্বীপ রাজ্য সাধারণ হাসপাতাল ব্লাড ব্যাংকের কর্মী তরুণ মাঝি। পাশাপাশি স্বেচ্ছায় রক্তদান শিবিরের উদ্যোগ নেওয়ার জন্য এই দিন তিনি স্থানীয় স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংগঠন ও ক্লাবগুলোকে অভিনন্দন জানান। রামপুর হাট মেডিকেল কলেজ এন্ড হাসপাতালের ব্লাড ব্যাংকের কাউন্সিলর, অনুপম ব্যানার্জি,বলেন আমাদের ওখানে রক্তের চাহিদা অনুযায়ী যোগান কম, তাই আমরা নবদ্বীপ হাসপাতালের সাথে যোগাযোগ করি, আজ তারা আমাদের হাতে এই রক্ত তুলে দেন।
